WOW alot of people are pissed about the endings. i thought I did somthing wrong only to find out I did most things right. I'm so depressed.

As they should be.

And I'm not 100% for saying make shepherd live, but make his death mean something, and give us the choice. The ending doesn't need to be "happy".

But instead we got a load of BS that makes no sense. And I say this having chosen to destroy the reapers. And this is what I took from it.

You destroy yourself.
You destroy the reapers.
You destroy the citadel.
You destroy the mass relays, which, essentially strands every race that was fighting a long side shepherd to live out their lives on either Mars or Earth. Am I the only one who sees a problem with that?

And then, "Oh, look Joker and two random crew mates crash land on a random planet . . . far far far from the fight." Wait...wait?
WHY/HOW WAS JOKER GOING THROUGH THE MASS RELAY WHEN HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FIGHTING!"

We deserved more if they were going to kill Shepherd. We deserved to see our crew and friends post war. Tali back on her home planet, maybe taking off her mask and shedding a tear for you. Wrex and Eve with baby Mordin. Miranda and her sister doing something sisterly. Your romance laying down flowers for you. SOMETHING!!!

I would of liked to see all of your crew post war (a few years past) gathered at some kind of memorial showing all the kinds of things I said above. And whether you have Shepherd die or not would make it his memorial or just the war memorial, or maybe Anderson's.

I hope hope hope this ending wasn't preconceived for very long. If so whoever wrote it should be very ashamed. A two year old could have come up with something better.

A lot of people are wanting a DLC with a better ending, like how Bethesda fixed Fallout 3...but I think the damage is already done.

While I am not looking, as knowing the ending before getting to it is lame, I am very curious.

I mean, I am thinking worse case scenario and I am still ok with the idea of like every character dying. That said, no idea what happens.

I don't want to know either, but worse case is leaving it on some _______ cliffhanger. Everyone dying is a would be a way better ending then a cliffhanger.

I would have been completely satisfied if they had an ending like that....something a few years down the road - to see how those who survived are doing and a memorial for those who did not. I mean, what the hell happened to Garrus? He was my partner in everything....or Tali, or Liara... And I will admit that everyone who helped fight the war being stranded now is a big downer. They can not go back to their homeworlds to rebuild, see family/friends.

I get that this was the war of all wars - it wasn't going to be pretty and a crapload of sacrifices had to be made by everyone. I suppose after investing so much time in this game and really caring about the relationships I made with Sheperd and others...more ending options would have been ideal. Even if they were bittersweet...

I tried all 3 endings. The endings were pretty much the same..except if you harmonize organics with synthetics. Then you see Joker and Eve come off the Normandy in the end holding hands...and you can see that Joker is part synthetic...he's got some green code stuff on his skin. One other squad mate gets off the ship but it's difficult to see who it is since they are focusing more on Joker/Eve walking off into the forest/jungle.

Oh, I am pretty sure Bioware said this will end the current trilogy, so no worries of a cliffhanger I think

I really hope they keep Mass Effect games going, but no more trilogies. They can do so much better with 'one shots' and the like. Have each game follow an all new character thru some unique adventure and still allowing for cameos, ending of ME3 pending on that, of course.

I find ME3 pretty intense, to the point where I can only play couple hrs at a time.

I've played some co-op - but no one will play with me...I keep getting kicked out because they are at level 18 or so and I am now at 2. So I've been playing by myself and it is hard. I can make it wave 3 but that's the farthest I've been able to go by myself. :lol And it has done nothing to my Readiness level. :( And to make it more difficult, I have no money in MP so I can not buy medigel or better weapons/armor/skills.

Also been playing the Infilterator game on my iPad. I hate playing games on that....He jumps out of cover when I'm trying to get him to shoot instead. Urgh! But my Readiness is up 3% so far and I'm not done yet.

Oh they lie, we were discussing it a page back or so, but it might all be in spoiler tags. If you want a semi-crappy ending (instead of a BS one) play a ton of hours of multiplayer before you get to the end. :slap

I think there may be ways to do it...but it hinges on things you did on 1 and 2. For instance, if you kill Wrex in 1 and saved the genophage cure in 2...then you can trick the Krogan into thinking a cure was dispensed...save Mordin (but you would need strong paragon/renegade) and he becomes an asset and you get Salarian and Krogan support. Also if you kill the Rachnii queen in 3, Grunt becomes an asset and you have a stronger Krogan team...meaning more points for assets...but you don't get Rachnii support...not sure if a smaller Krogan army and Rachnii army is worth more points together or if it's worth more to have a stronger Krogan army and no Rachnii support though. Not sure also if wiping out the heretic geth in 2 would change anything either....but maybe give you more points for a stronger Quarian fleet? I only need around 1100 more points total (taking into account that would be multiplied by my readiness percentage) to save Sheperd. Still trying to figure it out...though I know the endings and they still are depressing....but maybe if Sheperd lives...we will see more about it in one of the DLCs.

I am willing to do some co-op next time on. LIVE xxxMadMATTxxxx

I'll play with you. My gamer tag is the same as here.

Great, I lost out on a few Citadel sidequests because I finished Tuchanka first. Will have to reload a save.

I wish the Journal in ME3 wasn't so damn vague.

Almost done with Infilterator. It's pretty good...though a little buggy...especially if you are using the sniper a lot. The app totally shut down several times when I was almost done with a hard mission killing those giant geth and one of those crazy giant merch machines (can't remember what they are called). that level took me forever to finish. The controls on the iPad are not ideal...but I'm starting to get the hang of it and should have my readiness level to at least 60% by the time I'm done.

Same here. The timing out aspect is annoying

:woo Thanks guys. My gamertag is Kurjen. Well get our only little freaky party going. :lol

Oh yeah!!! LOL

So I played about 4 hours of the game (just left the Citadel), and then I realized that I didn't like the distance between my Femshep's mouth and nose. So I started a new game and fixed that, playing another 3 hours to get back to the same point I was at. :slap

I must have escaped Earth 5 or 6 times now due to Shepard tweaking. :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

But playing as a Vanguard with the new melee system and utilizing Nova is pretty awesome. I do get myself killed a lot because I'm playing on hardcore, but it's damn fun. I mean, I just finished Insanity in ME2, so I figured Normal would be too easy and boring. :cuckoo:

I'd be willing to play some MP as well. My gamertag is SHADOWSCYTHE85.

As for needing MP, you can save Shepard without it, but you have to make the right choices to get the most War Assets per choice. If you play pure paragon or pure renegade, you won't get the maximum WA available in the campaign. Certain choices give more WA if the renegade option and the same happens with paragon options. You just have to know which option gets you the most WA.

As for Mordin, he’s f_cked no matter what you do.

And for Bioware, apparently they are buying time until Europe and Asia have had the time to chime in about the endings before they release any sort of statement.

But the devlopers and writers are very aware of the fans displeasure.
