I'm more interesting in the characters exclusive to the 200x series. Calix being a real obvious one I'd love.

I think they not releasing the figures' names ahead of time has more to do with TG wanting to do reveals at SDCC, PowerCon and NYCC more than any legal issues TBH...

probably right...but the reveals are still exciting even if we just knew the names.They don't have to be in order,just give us all the names for 2014.(then the excitement can come from the actual physical reveal)

Yeah I agree that seeing the figure is the exciting part not what the figure is. Maybe they like holding on to the end of the year stuff to generate hype by proximity for the next year?

Extendar was one of my favs from the vintage line. He is a must have for me!

Also, Blast-Attak is a robot that was shown to be both in Skeletor's faction and then the Snake Men. He was used more for the Snake Men. Goofy concept of a figure that is a cyborg that runs up and blows himself up to attack his enemies.

So some quick research… is this all that's left from the original line?

It seems like a lot of figures but none of them really scream "must have" to me.

Yeah actually Extendar would be cool. I don't get why we got Sir Lasorlot when there was already a way cooler looking vintage knight figure.

This has been the biggest mistake in this line (IMO). When we are committing so much money by subbing, we don't want to be surpised, we want to know what we are getting. I feel that TG gets a kick out of knowing the lineup and plays "puppet master" in a sense by giving us hints and then sitting back to whatch us play guess who. The UNO is a prime example!

I also wish Mattel would reveal the full lineup (at least the names) in advance so we know what we're buying in for. The mystery sub exclusive is a stupid move IMO and it makes me wonder if they just didn't have it sculpted in time for San Diego. At least with the sneak peeks we now know a couple more figures that are coming in 2014:

Two Bad
Glimmer
Hydron
Modulok
Scorpia
Blade
Huntara (*possibly 2015)

At this point in the line it would be pretty easy to guess about 80-90% of the lineup for 2014/15, we just don't know which year they fall under.

No way do we get 3 more NA figures in 2014 along with Hydron. There are only 17 spots (some may be reserved for beasts) and I would expect to see no more than 2-3 NA figures.

Also, this year seems rather.... filmation-heavy now that I think about it.

Filmation in the main sub has fangman,octavia and plundor

Toyguru said they have to see how day of sales go before they do another Filmation sub...he also said the Filmation sub didn't do all that well..

So far Icer sold out after a couple days...so I guess we'll see

honestly,I am not sure I'd go in another Filmation Sub unless the lineup was this- Lizard Man,Delora (Stratos's sister),Lord Todd (The alien shapeshifter who woo'ed Teela),General Sunder (Horde Army general),Lord Masque and Katrina (the cat woman)

I'm pretty much down for whomever. As awesome as these are, I'm mostly buying them for My son at this point. He just turned one, and I'm very excited for him to get to be 5-6, so he can really enjoy them.
