I doubt it's Snake Armor She-ra in which it would gladly save me money if it was

I dunno, it might be good. I guess it depends on how you feel about Snake Armor He-Man. I personally love it.

Due to him being included in last year's sub, I actually have and like how Snake Armor He-Man was executed, I even have the shapeways shield for him, but I'm not really a fan or a collector of the 200x styled classics figures.

I just think the SDCC exclusive should be something else. Is Snake Armor She-Ra something that's been officially created already by Mattel, for the new comics, etc? I've seen fan customs and artwork, but nothing officially published.

Also not seeing a trademark for Snake Armor She-Ra, not sure if one would be needed to begin with.

I wish I was surprised.
It's depressing that such a person has as much sway with MOTU fans as he does. But I guess for some folks, if you run a convention you can say and do what ya like.

Edit, I think I have spare MIB Huntara but you are in the US right?

In Australia actually, but thank you for the offer all the same. Much appreciated :)

Why do you doubt it. I do know we are getting a NA She-Ra so I am just putting two and two together but you do tend to be up on these things so what do you think it is?

We already got NA She-ra

I believe its Filmation Prince Adam and cringer set

I thought I read recently that Neitlich had a fully articulated Cringer planned when he was still there. So if I wasn't imagining reading that, and if Neitlich wasn't lying like he always does, then they just might do a Prince Adam and Cringer set.

An articulated cringer would be nice I suppose. I cannot say that it excites me much though.

I know Scott was irksome at times but I think folks will come to look at his tenure as Brand Manager to be when the quality was higher than it is now and he was more familiar with the brand.
Go read the latest Q&A with Mattel. They don't give me the impression they know or care much at all. Scott may have been a bit awkward and prickly but he cared man.

I dunno, It looks to me like Mattel have changed how the do things or use a different factor or are paying less for quality control. I say this upon seeing the scores of boss eyes new Ghostbusters figures, Trap Jaw and some Voltaks, but especially the Ghostbusters.

I hate to agree with you there. Vultak really feels cheaper than figures before him. Also all those delays may be an indicator that the factory may indeed have changed. I really hope that those issues are simply "starting issues" but I have my doubts. Vultak could have been a very nice figure but in hand the plastic feels so cheap, the seams are so visible and the paint is so weak. Once I said that I dont mind fixing the paint on my figures. Adding highlights and a nice brush is even fun. However I dont want to completly remove the original paint before fixing the figure. I really hope Vultak is an exception there...

Fair enough. I think it's safe to say you knew or know him better than many of us. Compared to what we have now, I can believe Scott actually did put more effort into things. Personal opinions of him as a person aside, I will have to agree that overall Scott did run things better and I can believe that he does actually like MOTU.

I just got Voltak. He doesn't do a lot for me to be honest. His eyes are thankfully ok but we are defo getting a cheaper product. Even the paper with the name on it feels to be a lower gsm (thickness). There not much paint apps on him at all and any flat plastic colour, like trap jaw has all these imperfections. The black armor on Voltak is very rough and unclean looking to me.

Perhaps I am being harsh, but I had my NA figures on the window sil so had take them down as it's getting sunny now and don't want them to fade but you pick up even any of those NA figures and the quality and over all paint apps are for more and better that any figure that comes after the Flying Fist set.

I actually picked up a Vultak as well. I was going to pass on him but I found him fairly cheap online. The one I received is actually half way decent. The eyes aren't perfect but passable, especially when compared to eyes painted on like Angella and PD Teela. You really can't go wrong with two little dots. I figured if they were derpy, I'd just repaint them. The ankle rockers aren't as bad as I thought they'd be.

The only thing I find to be really cheap looking is the leash. The crossbow I don't even care about, but it did come all bent out of shape. One thing I found interesting is the new way they are fastened to their inner bubble now. They are white nylon fasteners instead of the clear rubber bands, which really stand out. I feel bad for MOC collectors.

Well, it was supposed to end last year... I wouldn't be surprised if it ends this year... After all the changes on Mattel and nobody taking the reigns of MattyCollector as well as the lack of updates and constant delays, I'm surprised they haven't cancelled a few things yet...

There's rumors of a SDCC announcement tomorrow, and maybe PowerCon will shed more light into what's going on
