But anyway, Seeing as BCRDukes posts over at the .borg always end with a suggestion for fans to make their voices heard by Mattel, it sounds to me like he's fear mongering and possibly trying to coerce .borg members to maybe beg and plead to Mattel to continue the line, as if that would have any effect whatsoever.

I don't care what his reputation is as a MOTUC prophet, he should have refrained from posting and changing his signature, knowing the lunatics on that board would go into full panic mode.

Oh yeah, I am very excited by them. I get all the 4HM figures and still have them all despite selling on many other figures. Are you getting any Mythic Legions?

All In!! I have about 1/2 of them open now. So many figures, it has been great. Amazing how different they all look with so many shared parts. Really like the ability to customize these.

They started shipping with All-In and then are going to ship the rest of the Kickstarter orders and then the rest of the orders. I think so far the orders have been the all-in orders. Not sure how long it will be for them to ship everything. I already posted a pic in the Mythic Legions thread and will post some more in there.

I don't see MOTU "Classics" going anywhere yet.Could the collector's line be finished? maybe...But I don't see not getting anymore figures.
If anything, they continue the Filmation line.There is at least 2 years worth of figures to do and because they are CORE characters-they sell!

I'm actually looking forward to Darius and Crita. I just hope they aren't botched. I'm sure Crita will have derpy eyes though, that's a given at this point. I think the New Adventures characters have been pretty nicely done, even though it's not the most popular aspect of MOTU lore.

I don't have any inside information about the end of MOTUC, but I could see this happening internally at Mattel. There doesn't seem to be a consistent lead for Matty Collector or MOTU since Toy Guru left and with new management comes new priorities. Mattel has said in their Q&A that many of the employees who work on the Matty Collector lines have other responsibilities for retail lines which is the bread and butter of the company. If they are short on resources or staff reductions are coming, I could see them easily shutting down some of these lines to refocus on the core brands. No doubt Matty Collector makes them money, but I bet it's peanuts compared to the lines they sell to Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us. This is all speculation on my part though if the rumors are true.

I wouldn't be surprised if that were real. Snake Mountain would be extremely expensive for them to tool. I think they're kicking themselves for making Castle Grayskull since they no doubt lost a lot of money with that due to the bait and switch, forcing them to allow people to cancel their orders, leaving them stuck with a few hundred units ... so no way they're entertaining the idea of a Snake Mountain at this point. Especially since it would HAVE to be bigger than the castle to guaranty sales... and they don't want it to be big, they want it to be small as possible and cheap as possible. I do think they tried since they allowed the 4H to sculpt a prototype... but I think Mattel decided the cost to make it wasn't worth it to them and it was too much of a gamble.

What I would really like to see is the 4H have COMPLETE control over Snake Mountain, do a pre-order / kickstarter, and sell it under a different name since they would obviously not be allowed to call it Snake Mountain. Crocodile Mountain would work since the snake looks like a crocodile anyway. It would be much more expensive but hey, at least we would get it and it would no doubt be top quality.

I think a Barbie She-Ra will sell very well. Not necessarily for us as She-Ra is or at least was a girls brand but I think there will be many who will love this.

The full "doll" hasn't even been revealed yet and people already decided they want one, more than one, one for me, one for my daughter, one for my neighbor, 3 for Pixel Dan, 10 for Scott Neitlich, and 12 for Daniel Pickett.

How about wait until you see how it came out, then decide if you want to buy 10,000 of them. Oh yeah, it doesn't matter what it looks like so long as it says She-Ra: Princess of Power on the box.
