The full "doll" hasn't even been revealed yet and people already decided they want one, more than one, one for me, one for my daughter, one for my neighbor, 3 for Pixel Dan, 10 for Scott Neitlich, and 12 for Daniel Pickett.

How about wait until you see how it came out, then decide if you want to buy 10,000 of them. Oh yeah, it doesn't matter what it looks like so long as it says She-Ra: Princess of Power on the box. :wink1:

Man, what is wrong with you? :lol

So seems like definitely no MOTUC exclusive this year... For the first time in almost 8 years... What a bummer... [emoji53]
I mean, even if the line died, exclusives would be a great idea to keep making some figures...

Not a thing. :clap

Seriously though, There are dozens of people on Facebook alone who go crazy over a few teasing pictures that don't really reveal anything, and it's the same old mentality... "Mattel, take my money please!" I think it's pathetic.

I get that fans are excited and are looking forward to SDCC and seeing the final product, but c'mon.

Plus, I get the feeling Matty is aiming at a predominantly female demographic nowadays. Is there anything wrong with it? Not really, just an observation.

I wonder if the She-Ra doll will have my art work on?! Outside of the Filmation stuff Mattel has no highly rendered art of She-Ra aside from the one i did for the 30th Anniversary standee and SDCC booth. If the Wonder Woman packaging is anything to go buy, I am in with a chance. But they may have gotten some new in house set done too. Don't have high hope but fingers crossed as it would definitely one for the ticket list to have my art on a MOTU toy. :)

I been saying that there is a big gap in the market for strong glamorous female role models and She-Ra in doll form would be perfect.
That and the fact that the doll market is huge so it's a good move I reckon.

There is a thread somewhere?

yup, just go to my info and click on thread started by me or just do a Search The Hottoycast.

Sad to see no MOTUC exclusive. With that said, happy for a ThunderCats one. Spirit Jaga is my guess. Wonder what the WWE one will be.

So, according to that pic that Kuzeh was so gracious enough to share with us, It would seem there won't be any MOTUC exclusives. That doesn't mean there won't be any MOTUC representation at SDCC.

I wonder if the three PowerScam exclusives have something to do with SDCC not having one.

Whatever. You were mocking about my post that I will buy a Barbie She-Ra for my daughters. There is nothing wrong about being an enthusiastic father. You crossed a line there. If it werent you, Id feel offended. Remember that I adviced you to imagine that we are all sitting in a real pub, have a bear and a real conversation eye to eye? If this was true, this would have been the moment you would have gotten a little hit. :lol
Lets just try to have a civil conversation. :duff

Dont be too worried yet. I have done a little "research". From what I have heard Mattel will be at Powercon with an announcement. They will not take anything away from SDCC, but rather announce/present the SDCC excl. right there. Yet, I dont know if they simply present She-Ra or indeed announce a Classic excl. :dunno

Wow. So assuming they have more to reveal, Mattel would rather do it with a limited group of toy collectors rather than reach out to a much wider audience at SDCC? In typical fashion, it would seem Mattel is once again making bad choices. Sounds like Val and Mattel are more than just in cahoots, and he'll be making some serious money from this little joint venture, but that's really what it's all about isn't it?

Mattel let limited collector groups chose colour schemes for their figures, so why not present the SDCC excl. at a con before the SDCC. I agree however that I dont want Val to be involved too much.

A She-Ra Barbie has been a long time coming and something fans have been asking for so I can see why there is so much excitement surrounding that release. If they do a 2-pack with She-Ra and Adora decked out this could be something really special. I am not much of a POP fan and own nothing Barbie, but I would buy this for my collection. I really hope there is a MOTUC exclusive for SDCC in some form. This is such a great opportunity for Mattel to get us some type of deluxe figure or multipack and not take away a slot from the regular line. Hopefully they have planned for it.

I was just thinking they could sell us a set of blonde hair mini comics Teela and cardback red/orange Ram-Man and sell them like gangbusters at SDCC. It doesn't take much effort and fans would be pleased.

I can't say that a red Ram Man and Blonde Teela excites me. I would only buy them as I am completest

WellI for one am wanting an the 'ultimate He-Man' figure. Which is a slightly more detailed classics He-Man, with multiple interchangable heads, (inc shouty one and wind in hair) interchangeable hands, articulated wrists and just a really highly rendered paint app.

That would be nice with perhaps some lightning affect to attach to the sword.

I think the Teela and Ram Man variants would sell great considering those figures are so expensive these days. Though perhaps Filmation versions are more likely to come first.

Don't even tease us with such an awesome idea. Thats way too obvious a move for Mattel to make so it will probably never happen-at least no time soon and certainly not for a anything less than a grossly inflated price if it were to actually come up.

Really Mattel?
No reveals today?

The wheels are turning and in a few days we will start the reveal of our exclusives here. We can't wait to show you what we have created for you this year!! In the meantime, mark on your calendar: our pre-sale will run from June 16 to June 26 at mattycollector.com. More to come!

The wheels are turning at Mattel everyone, What a relief.

More like the lights are on at Mattel, but nobody's home.
