Well guys got a message back from TGB and says that he would love to but can't/won't. Reason being that he feels with materials and labor that it could end up an expensive figure. And if he was accepting money for it that by might get a notice from matty to stop.

the solution, then, is simple. find someone else to do it. I'm learning how to cast... just tossing this out there.

I will take a shot at casting up an axe in translucent resin and see if I can achieve the desired effect. Doing a whole KG will require alot of work and many molds. A clear version that is not blue might be cool. It is also possible to put sparklies in the resin like the He-Ro sword. I ordered a bunch of material off the web and will start testing next week. I am also really not keen on tearing apart my only KG. So if anyone sees one for sale loose/cheap with no weapons lmk. I am also not keen on making any money from doing a spirit figure. So if anything was to come of this, it would be a very limited run and cost would be actual material cost. Looking at my KG I also think I would eliminate some articulation. Some joints would be puttied up and cast as one part to cut down on the number of molds/parts needed. I will post updates when everything arrives and I get something solid in hand to post.

I'd bite the bullet and get a Grayskull if we were going to go through with this.. but I'd want to retain as much articulation as possible. If it is do-able though we can cross the bridges when we come to it. Maybe make this a Freaks board exclusive to blow the people at .org away

Stratos is on a Medi stand.

Keldor's head is from a TNA figure, some minor adjustments to some facial hair and the neck hole. Watching the toon Keldor wasn't always pissy like Skeletor, he was more calmed and such.

I can't believe this person listed Tri-Klops for $60.00 when they don't even have it. Who knows his computer may break down and he wont even get a chance to order this figure. The nerve of some people. Stuff like this pisses me off.

That's what I was thinking. When Hordak was released another
person had him for $100.00. However I think that pre-sales were against

Finally my first figure arrived today which is Mer-Man and he looks great. My Hordak and others are still in transit which will probably arrive on Tuesday.

Small little update, moved the figures to another shelf. Also got in Faker today. I thought he was the same shade of blue as skeletor but guess not. Still a great figure, shame I missed out on Heman though.

Forget the cape for Keldor, he should make a battle helmet and saddle for the pup! Jk, Custom Keldor looks great, as do the others.

I also have a mib stratos if anyone needs, I can get to someone in the US for 22 bucks to help someone out. Offer only open to people who do not have a stratos.

Once I get a second Skeletor Ill start to completly finish him off. I wanna swap the forearms and feet, and since I only have 1 Skeletor atm Im not gonna mess him up.

Eliminating the articulation would not be necessary, the only issue will be replacing some of the joints, like his hip joints, but I've got replacement hip joints in mind. I talked to the guy teaching me how to cast things today about it, and he's going to take a look at my KG on mondy, and see what is needed to create a cast. the ONLY problem i forsee is some issues with flexability, as transparent resin is often very VERY stiff. we would need to make certina pieces out of a blue. or white Non-transparent soft resin. such as his cape, and his fuzzy underpants( onlypants? ).

Memnoch, one way, or another The Spirt of Greyskull Freaks Edition is a Freakin Go.

We need to put a Freaks Trademark on his butt, literaly, to mark this as NOT the Matty version.

I was taking some pics in the backyard this afternon and decided to break out my 200X Prince Adam. I love the design on this guy and actually prefer it to his classic look.

I really didn't even think about the joints. I would really like to see a KG full disassembled. The only articulation I was thinking to remove would be the boot swivel, and the ab crunch. I rarely use these if at all on my KG's.

Also another concern I have has to do with the dye in the resin. You would have to get the exact dye ratio on every mold pour, or else you would have lighter/darker blue parts. But I think if you are really precise, that could be avoided. I also got some black dye, if all else fails, I might make some He-ro swords like the proto looked.
