Missing the Nefarious 5. And although I do have Wave 10 I am just out of room right now. I built this thing about a month ago thinking it would be more than enough to hold them all. How wrong I was.

I'm in the same situation. I thought I'd have plenty of room for all the DCUC figures I have collected, but their numbers are growing exponentially. My collection has turned into a large army.

I guess I don't really mind that their number is growing really fast. I just wish my made up display lasted longer. That or these figures are about to get chummy with each other.

Classic Aquaman is selling for 30.00 bucks? Yowza! I guess I under-appreciate these figures sometimes.

Yeah, on amazon he goes for $50+ and he rarely goes for under $40 on ebay, so I figured I'd grab him while I could. That display is all kinds of awesome! I'm not quite there yet, but seeing as how the older figures are ALL I'm asking for for Christmas and wave 11 should be here by then, I'll be close soon. Glad I'm not a completist with this line, I can do without the Super Powers homages for the Fourth World and definitely plan on cherry-picking every wave after 12 unless they reveal some amazing CnC that I absolutely MUST have.

I found almost two whole sets of wave 9 at Target yesterday, so I grabbed Guardian and Black Adam. Remarkably, they both have a decent range of neck articulation, Guardian moreso than Adam. Adam came out PERFECT, his expression sells the character. Guardian's a little vanilla and bland, but as a Kirby co-creation and a member of All-Star Squadron, I couldn't resist.

Speaking of running out of room, I now have a complete Chemo if anyone's interested. He's neat and all transparent-y, but I could care less about the character...

Wow, two sets of Wave 9 on the pegs. I don't think it even landed here in CA. That is one set I paid WAAY over the price. Stupid me! I agree with what you said on Black Adam and Guardian. The simplicity of the guardian figure is probably due to the simple costume design but still I never thought I'd ever see a figure of him.

I only ever saw one in the stores, at a Target in North Dekota. I picked him up and put him down because I already had a 1:6 scale DCD Aquaman.


Kind of regret that move now...

I finally got the chance to pop my quick custom. It's perfect since I'm usually lazy with customizing figures. Still needs to paint some areas but I think the results speak for themselves.

I really want to do that too, except I want to do it with Abin Sur, not Sinestro. An Amon Sur would be nice to have to fill out the ranks. On a flight stand, I don't notice Sinestro's small size so I haven't had an desire to "fix" him yet.

But your swaps look great regardless! The only paint I can see you needing would be white for the GL gloves. And maybe some orange to get rid of the vertical lines on the face. I suppose you could paint on a GL mask on him though.

Aquaman has one of the best head sculpts in the line, in my opinion. Just wanted to say that.

Thanks guys, It really was an easy pull and swap. I wanna do what you said Buttmunch. That should set the distinction between romat tu and tomar re. The ball joint in the Sinestro head is a little loose on the neck joint so he has a wobbly neck. OR maybe his neck is still suffering when Jordan snapped his neck.

Same here. I'm peeved that they're screwing e-tailers, but I want my poozing Kilowog, like, yesterday. So if they don't gouge on the price, I'll be ordering on the 15th for sure.

EDIT: I'm also, in spite of myself, liking their flying stands. May pick up a pack of those as well. And anyone else getting Justice In the Jungle? I want Animal Man, as I'm a sucker for all things Morrison, but B'wana Beast? Meh.

Theres some confusion going around about their set....some are wondering if they're in the standard DCUC carded packaging. Not that it'd matter to me, as I open each and everyone I get anyway.

Damn, I want that case, 12" Egon, 6" Winston, Skeletor, and Mego Green Arrow. But I can't afford all this crap around Christmas time. . . bleh.

Tell me about it. There is so much on that list I want. I may go case and sell the loose after I make my Kilowog....but it'd be jumping head first into this line. Oh and that DCU Super Friends Hawkman is definitely getting bought for my son.
