Matty just posted on their facebook that wave 11 goes on sale the 23rd, not the 15th, and that it breaks down to $15.00 a figure. I'm cancelling my bbts order if they don't have 'em by then and getting it from Matty.

Well, bigbadtoy wants 124.99 for the set, so it's actually less than their price. And with the retail markup already making them 14.99 at TRU and comparable prices at Target and Wal-mart, I don't think it's that bad. I'd rather pay what they're asking than have to hunt all over for this wave like I did wave 10, and given that Mattel has allegedly NOT shipped out Katma with the current pack-outs, I'm getting very glad that it's been pushed back so much. If only Mattel would get their collective head out of their @ss about this line, it is currently my favorite toy line period.

I don't mind getting 8 decent 1/12 figures for the price of one good 1/6 figure. Especially when Kilowog is included. So does the 8 figures include variants or not?

I remember reading that retail was going up to $15 per figure. If this is actually happening, then that just means I'm gonna get a lot choosier over this line. As with all things for me, it isn't the price alone, but the idea that the price is not worth what I'm paying for. $15 for a 6 inch plastic toy? I can justify that for the online exclusives, but not for figures released at mass retail outlets.

Obviously, I feel otherwise, unless the 8 1/12 figures are really important ones to me. For me, the b-level rejects that are in this wave like Shark, Katma Tui, Cyborg Superman, and Steppenwolf don't warrant $15 a piece by a long shot. That Kilowog does look great, though, and I would be willing to pay the price for wave 12 because Darkseid, Dr. Mid-Nite, and Spectre are must-buys, and I can justify the amount I will lose trying to re-sell the others loose. C'mon, classic JSAers!

Got my Etrigan today, all the way from Ghuonzou (sp?) China! He is AWESOME, easily in my top ten.

Relating to the above post-- I really, really hope Mattel does even some minor retooling on that Robin to make it more like Tim's first costume-- it wouldn't be too hard, just make an un-scalloped cape and use Kid Flash's gloves...

EDIT: Just saw scans and the Batman/Robin pack is a very easy pass for me. The Batman is a repainted PE body with DCUC head and Robin is a completely straight-up repaint with the short sleeves painted on. Lame.

Based on your description, sounds like WM may never get another DCUC 2 pack as that thing is gonna peg warm like crazy. Seems odd, that BM/R set should have been a Christmas season exclusive. At least then it would've had the chance to sell thru.

But then again, after what I saw at my last WM run, wave 10 may be warming the pegs well after xmas. Well, at least Scott at Mattel didn't lie when he said WM ordered significantly more of w10 than they ordered wave 5.

That is just sad, I mean its not horrible they pulled it off pretty well but yeah at least use the gloves from Kid Flash and fix the cape. And why paint Black Manta blue? It makes no sense.

Thanks! Actually I'm missing 9 variants minus captain atom (gold) which I have but didn't include in the photo. Since marvel legends went into coma dcuc is the only 6" inch line that I collect these days.
