Depends on which figures you are looking for. CSC is selling some figures for $8, can't go wrong with that. Hawkman, killermoth, big barda, cyborg, capt marvel, miracle man, dr. impossible.

I got off this bus a whileback... for some odd reason, I Decided to get back on. Picked up Solar suit superman about an hour ago... Thankfully, I just cherry pick these... though I DO want some of the BAF. Need to get Kaliback, Only want Green Arrow from his wave.... Any advice on picking up the "back issues" on these?

Lee and I did the same thing back during the DCSH jaunt. I agree with the fellas that the online guys are the way to go, then ebay. You might even get Thomas at CSC to give you a good price on a lot. Joel at BBTS too. Just ask them and you might get 'em for less than the sell price. While getting the "back issues" of the 13" DCD, Lee and I were negotiating with CSC for a lot price. Ended up getting them cheaper at an LCS closer to home, but Thomas was really willing to play ball because, afterall, CSC is an LCS.

Superman is on New Krypton, Nightwing is Christopher Kent at least that's the name he was given by Clark but he's actually General Zod's kid. Flamebird is Thara Ak Var, Supergirl's childhood friend from old Krypton before it exploded.

Good to know Nightwing is being re-released the leg on mine broke a week after I had him never bothered getting a new one and now he seems to be in demand and Ebay asking prices are insane.

I'm also glad Nightwing is getting a re-issue. However, I didn't see a pre-order on bbts for him as a single and e-mailed asking if they were going to offer him as such. Here's hoping...

Just got the Disco Duo from Matty. Animal Man looks like he just stepped out of the pages of "52". Has a nice smirk and love the furrow detail on the forehead. Not really familiar with the B'wana Beast, only saw him on that episode of Justice League. His helmet doesn't allow for any up/down movement. Still a cool addition to the growing collection.

17.99 is better then the 40-50 people want for the wave 3 version.

The whole thing in the Superman books is just beyond crazy right now, what with New Krypton just being the real bottled city of Kandor that somehow used adapted Braniac technology to keep themselves shielded from the whole exploding of Krypton. Which Superman found in Braniac's ship who he actually just fought for the first time since the other braniac robots and what not was never actually him. And he released them and then they use super science to turn a city into a whole planet that now is in place behind Earth's Sun and they took one of Jupiter's Moon's as thier own, again using Super Science. And I could go on and on about the crazyness that is Superman right now, sure Batman is lost in time which sounds like a bad movie, but at least its simple enough that everyone things he's dead.

Kandor did not adapt Brainiac tech to escape Krypton's explosion. Brainiac invaded Krypton and stole Kandor and miniaturized it. Like from the old Superman Mythos.
In the movie "Superman returns" they introduced the idea that Crystals can "grow" by using and adapting the surrounding resources. DC has used this idea before and previous issues; one with Luthor and the Kryptonite Man and a Kryptonian vessel. not sure of the issue number. It seems they re-used the idea to grow New Krypton. Nightwing was originally a Kryptonian hero, so I am curious to know what will happen to Grayson when Wayne returns.

I am currently waiting for wave 11 to be released by CSC, seems they received an "Incomplete" assortment. Anyway, I don't mind now as my 3 month old display case is officially overflowing and can't fit anymore. Arrgh! Time to take out the nails and hammer again.

Yup, Bruce has been jumping around the timestream trying to get home. Red Robin's new ongoing is focusing on Tim's quest to find Bruce while everyone thinks he a looney. Anyway here are some sketches by Andy Kubert of Bruce's adaptation through different era's in time. Here's hi pirate costume
