Got them both. The droids only added an extra dollar to shipping and at the end of the day $25 for the option of displaying Maul AND Qui-Gon, or any other two characters who were on Tatooine (Ben and Luke, AOTC Anakin and Padme, Sandperson and Luke, etc.) just seemed too pivotal to pass up.

I think lots of people who pass on the accessory are going to be incredibly regretful when the Ben Quadinaros/Two-Headed Announcer combo pack comes out and they don't have two sand displays to put them on.

I ordered both for the moment, but still I am not happy with this figure.
First of all, the body ratio is somehow disturbing to me. the shoulders are so thin.

And also if you buy both it costs 80 $ and you can buy a GG maul statue for 110 $ in ebay.

So a big question mark for me for the moment

How did you get that? I had to order the DROIDS separately.

I was able to order both, too. Instead of checking out after purchasing Maul, I just want back to the droids and added them to the cart. Then did the final checkout.

Maybe you should cancel your orders and redo it.

I'll call tomorrow to see if Maul and his droids are intended to ship at the same time. If so, I'll definitely do that...anything to save a buck.

I'm sure SS will tally up the appropriate shipping before charging our CC's when these items become available. That's assuming they'll be able to ship Maul AND the Probe expansion pack at the same time...

Were there any coupons available this time? I couldn't find any in the podcast My order came out to $94.47 after shipping and tax. $79.98 for the product. $8.10 shipping and $6.39 tax.

Actually, now that I think of it, whenever I would order an 'exclusive' figure, I would also order the 'regular' through SS. While they are 2 seperate orders with 2 seperate order numbers...and 2 sets of shipping charges at time of order, SS always ships them together for 1 shipping charge when they become available, so I'm sure that's what they'll do here with the Maul and expansion pack also...

I hope so because right now my DROID PACK costs me $34. I had trouble with $25 so if I can save a little I'll feel better.

Shame that SS didn't start doing these bases from the beginning, a Death Star base would have been great for Luke.

I like the idea a lot, it helps take these more out of the "doll" mentality. Of course then Oluf posts, and puts them firmly back in their place!

Darth It does come with two.

Now I know this is being beat in the ground... but that quote and the writing on the description make it sound like there is only one sand covering... and it is an additional base for Maul to stand on. Has it really be stated clearly (and I admit I may be dense here) that there will be the standard SS base and 2 sand coverings? And then it would mean that the non-inclusive would just have 1 sand covering?

EDIT: Okay, now I see, I didn't notice that the first base listed is a desert one as well... crap! Now I have to buy this thing!
