Honestly, I only want one more thing from George Lucas. Ever. I want the OT on blu-ray, UNTOUCHED. Failing that, I'll keep my DVDs that have the original versions on them and board myself up in my house so that when Lucas' secret police come for me like they came for all the copies of the Holiday Special, I will be dug in and armed like a Montana militia member and I will fight them to the death to keep my non-special-edition OT.
Honestly I don't give a $#%^ what Lucas does with the movies as long as I've got my untouched OT.

I look at the movies as one story. Each movie is a different chapter of whats going on. It is what it is. I enjoy them for whats good and bad. They tell a story I like and look good doing so. Thats ok by me as far as SW goes.

I agree. While I don't think we will ever get the Original OT in Blu-Ray I'll be happy that I have them on DVD and whatever changes he makes from now one are ok with me.

I put this out there for people you might be interested, or at least know someone you might be interested, in letting Lucas know that there are some of us old time fans who LOVE what he's has done with PT! You speak the truth. I like the PT, in a way they are "my" Star Wars because I just missed seeing the OT in theaters (I was 3 when RotJ came out).

Or a, not interested I don't like/hate them! Instead of the same old whining. That's why I consider the "Purists" childish and immature. I can accept that some people don't like them. Hey, can anyone tell me what there is to like about the Prequels? I'd be genuinely interested to hear an argument in their favour that's as convincing as all the arguments I've heard denigrating them.
It would have to be a pretty good argument to convince me to enjoy three movies that I hated, but I'm up for hearing it.
