Why not use foreign oil while we transition and save our domestic reserves in case we really need them? Drilling locally isn't going to do anything to prices in the near term, and you can bet your bottom dollar the oil companies will be exporting that black gold just as soon as anyone else overseas offers a better price.

Because we are going to need the money we save from buying oil from the middle east to fund the exploration of alternative fuels.

You are playing with words again. This is at least the third time in this thread. He is asking YOU what you have lost. The govt. is not wiretapping Joe Schmos house. They are tapping the leader of the mosque who has known ties to extremist Islam. They are not holding Bob the farmer without due process, they are holding Muhammad who was caught working with Al-Qeda. Your bouncing around words gets old. Like telling me I haven't read the 2nd Ammendment because I understand that arms means guns. You delude yourself arguing the point. I look forward to coming on here Nov. 5 and hearing the complaints when McCain/Palin win. I'll put this in writing right now. If Obama wins, I will come on here, congratulate all you loyal subjects of his win and leave this site so you all won't have to hear me anymore.

Palin has run a state government of 15,000 for 20 months. Obama has run a democratic presidential campaign supervising many thousands of people for 7 years.

He's been running for prez for 7 years?

Seriously, with all of Obama's issues, from Health Care to leaving Iraq well within 100 years, polling better than the Republican's, why would he want to confuse things? He wouldn't. He doesn't. He wants to talk about how McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time; that McCain just doesn't get it; that voting for McCain/Palin is voting for Bush's 3rd term. That's what he wants to talk about and he wants to talk about it a lot. The media chasing Palin is talk-blocking him.

So I've read in this very thread. Some of the experts on here have assured me that criminals don't want to hurt me or my family. They just wanted to play Robin Hood, steal my stuff so they can share it with others. Criminals are just misunderstood.
