Just the trailer alone makes your position accurate lol

Yep, lol.

I'm actually glad that Phase IV looks like one giant snooze fest. That'll just make it that much easier to compartmentalize Phases I-III as their own thing. The M-She-U might as well be a different franchise.

Literally nothing that I'm looking forward to (MCU FF, Wolverine, real Thor teaming with GotG) is even on the horizon yet.

I'm slightly curious about the BW flick. The Red Guardian was fun when he faced Cap in the comics but I just saw David Harbour in person a few weeks ago and he was *not* in shape so I don't know how they're planning to pull that off.

Glad to see you're just a casual fan and not one of those demanding types...

It's actually a very "casual" list. Nothing too geeky in it. Most of it are character people know already. It's not like I was asking for Protégé, Mad jin Jaspers, or Mathew Malloy.

Doom > Kang

Yes, but Kang is a time traveler, which means he can go to a time where Cap and Tony are in their prime and get this.

I’m way more interested in the BW Atomic Blonde/Wick style movie than I thought I was going to be.

But i’m ready for D23 to whip out a new TROS trailer and wash over me with some sweet sexy pouting Rey lips and Mandalorian bad assery with psychotic IG88 lol

Agreed, those characters are pretty well known. I was just implying that most "casual fans" don't have a list of 10 wants at the ready. :lol

I'm not that excited about Phase 4 myself....

The Blade announcement (I know he's technically phase 5, but I think he could appear in DS2) and Dr. Strange 2 are the two I'm truly excited about. For the shows, it's Loki.

I guess I'll watch WandaVision for its leadup to DS2, but even though I love Wanda, I'm not excited about its premise.

Falcon + Winter Soldier basically lost me as soon as it was made clear they were going with Falcon Cap instead of Bucky Cap first. I'm a huge fan of Brubaker's run in the comics. I also think the MCU is wasting Seb Stan as Bucky. If the show doesn't do anything good with him, I'm going to be even more disappointed than I already am.

Add to that them trying to make Sharon Carter happen again? Yeah, no thanks.

No real interest in the Hawkeye / Kate Bishop show.

I'm feeling very, very bitter I lost Luke Cage, Punisher and Daredevil to these shows because I loved those shows and those characters. Loki's the exception.

I always liked Jane Foster and Natalie in the role and always wanted her to return, but I'm less into her becoming Thor. First, Thor's his name and not a title so that has always bugged me - I wish they'd give her her own superhero name. Second, after seeing Thor in EG, and knowing how Hemsworth likes to play the role these days....I think it's highly likely we'll get Thor, the even bigger joke. I didn't mind Ragnarok for what it is, I enjoyed it, but IW Thor was such an awesome take and I would prefer we get development towards him becoming King Thor. Not a fan of EG's take on the character and I'm turned off by how Hemsworth seems to want to play him.

There's also the fact that without Loki, my interest in any Thor film drops at least 50%....really more, if I'm being honest. The Thor-Loki dynamic is what made the 1st Thor for me and it's the first thing that got me excited about the first Avengers.

Black Widow deserved her own film a long time ago, and she should've been the first female character to get her own film over Captain Marvel, IMHO. I've always wanted it and I'm glad it's happening, I just wish I could get more excited about it. I'm not feeling it being set in between CW and IW, and then there's her death in EG. I do still look forward to this, though. I'm just not as excited as I could've been.

I don't know or care about Eternals or Shang-Chi, but I didn't know much about GOTG, either. I'm open to getting interested. However, GOTG had its own style that drew me in. That's what these two will have to do too.

This Phase might end up being a bit like filler to me as well.

I understand some people not liking the direction Hemsworth is taking Thor...but I just can't not like him. I saw Endgame again and found that even when scenes with Thor seemed to be having a jokey slant there was a least 3 such scenes I can think of where he recovered the situation and injected seriousness/pathos - where you see he's really hurting - the ''don't say that name'' bit when Banner first tries to get him back into the fold, the scene with his mother in 2014 Asgard and the scene where he volunteers to do the reverse snap ''I need to do something'', I'm probably getting the line wrong. He has great delivery.

He definitely can still bring the pathos and there were moments where that really shined through, but overall, the jokes and silliness was too much for me and overrode those moments (see the "Cheesewhizz" comment right after his need to "do something"). It was all just overkill that lasted too long/deep into the film.

I'm not one to usually have a problem with the humor the MCU injects into their films and usually defend it, but how they handled Thor's arc in Endgame showed me there was a line for me, especially when I feel it comes at the expense of a character, like it did Thor.

Aren't you glad that it's random SJW Eternals and vampire hunting though. Imagine if after EG we were somehow getting more Cap/Tony/Thor adventures next summer. And then imagine that it SUCKS. It'd be much harder to separate the crap from EG if it was just a continuation of the same characters and stories. I'm *so* glad that we won't have to worry about immediate follow-ups pulling an Alien 3/Spider-Man 3/TDKR.

Sure they can pull a SW ST and bring the same actors back many years or decades later but that's still a lot easier to ignore (if they screw it up) than say SM3/TDKR which fed off the direct momentum of the previous entries.

Yeah Thor in both IW and EG are my favorite incarnations of his character. The Thor/Star-Lord dynamic might even be my favorite pairing in all of superhero flicks, lol.

Yeah man never go full SM3/TDKR lol

You’re right we are lucky.

Actually i’m ok with vampires because don’t even try another IS size sage.

Eternals makes no freaking sense to me why would I want to see the Deviants again after we just had the biggest cinematic Deviant wielding the IG!

No kidding plus "ooh Eternals were created by Celestials." Um okay you mean like the guy that was blown up in comedic fashion at the end of GotG2, lol.

:lol :lol :lol

Feige is like Thanos at the beginning of EG. He used the MCU to conquer movies, then so that no one could undo the awesomeness of the IS he used the MCU to destroy itself. I heard he was seen walking around with a limp and a gimp arm after announcing Phases 4 and 5, lol.

:lol :lol :lol

After Eternals and skinny Thor we will definitely be in need of a time travel mission to undo that snap lol

I could care less about eternals or anything from phase 4 except blade.
