Just finished watching both Guardians of the Galaxy movies. I forgot just how much I loved them. Might be in my personal Top 10 all time movies.

Really looking forward to see what GOTG3 brings. Most anticipated film of this next phase. Wish it was out this year, but that stuff with Gunn pushed it back... would have been a nice follow up to Endgame, to go along with FFH and Falcon/Bucky show.

The whole Ego storyline was cringe worthy. I get the whole father v daddy angle with Ego and Yondu, but it felt fake and empty to me. Gunn split up the squad like Empire Strikes Back, well that didn't work out for this particular team. They are better together since they don't fit together.

They didn?t cater to anyone . Only a small pocket of fans liked it. The majority hates it. If they stuck with a story and did a good Star Wars movie it?d be universally praised.

Studios gave fans what they want with sonic and everyone loved it (except jye but he likes the ST).

Star Wars did nothing but push fans away and now they are stuck in a crap position. Marvel would be fine catering to fans cause they one the hearts of the GA. Thanos is a house hold name cause they listened to fans.

Sorta unrelated: is the Snyder Cut of JLA happening? If they do release it, I would watch it. Never saw the released JLA. But, CGI infested Summer movies never work. Wonder Woman was fun, until the last CGI battle, imo

That has to be the craziest thing out there in modern cinema a main character with no head up on the big screen for all to say wtf!

Reportedly that is because Cavill was not available to film...and also was having his obvious issues with WB/DC. The SHAZAM director really wanted that scene so they did a stand-in Superman.

DCEU is a mess...they should really pull out all the stops to get Cavill back. It's one thing to lose ONE star (Affleck), but two out of the "DC Trinity"? Wow...

If Marvel is able to pull in Cavill...good for them! Cavill would've also been a solid Captain America (with blonde hair of course) after seeing his depiction of Superman. Marvel probably would've also done a better job censoring that mustache...
