Ok, if the medicom one needs to be modded to be accurate despite all the talk of it being superior to Hot Toys I'll wait to see what the HT DX comes out like. Hopefully its not a false rumour.

here is my finished medicom TDK batman with custom cape, hot toys belt, head widening mod and repaint thanks to small_studios. he is one of my favorite pieces now.

Looks great. Medicom do have some good stuff despite not leading the pack at the moment. Still, it has to be perfect - unmodded - in order to persuade me not to wait on Hot Toys.

Same. I mean, it EASILY looks the very best TDK Bats figure I have seen, but seeing as it took a fair bit to get him that good, will still wait on the HT.

also here is a picture of the painted head and since I received this I have done the head widening mod which was very easy. I just covered the head in a towel and then aimed a blow dryer at it for about 8 seconds and then lightly sqeezed the front of the head and the back of the head together and once it cooled off it stayed like that.

True, to both. I've almost got sick of working on this. Due to taking so long with it. I sure wouldn't like to do lots of them. Even though it's just the hands thats remaining glossing up the glove trim and knuckles. Oh and need to make the stand for it as well. Medicom's stands are so horrid. The DX stand sure looks so nice industrial square look.

It looks so nice with that floor length cape, lforigno. I've been humming and hawing over taking the stock cape off but the pose-ability of it wants me to keep it as is.
