It looks really nice, but being this off of 1:6 (even more than Medi Vader) puts me off of wanting one. I wouldn't have so much issue with Medi's smaller size if their figures were scaled consistently with each other.

Thanks for the very insightful and helpful critique. I'm sure Medicom will use your comments to help improve their products in the future.

I don't think Medicom's that big on feedback. I don't think Ive ever seen any feedback from them on the height issues

i was observing pictures of this and i am not sold on it.
i would like to get it. but it looks like a rah body with a rubber suit. if you look at the feet. but i know this is just an early photo and not the final product...

This retails for around USD$175 here in Malaysia.

Considering that this item is manufactured in China and that Malaysia is geographically much nearer to China than the US is, I think SS by retailing it at USD$170 isn't such a rip-off after all.

Regarding the prices in Singapore as quoted by some members here, I will tend to think its due more to a retailers' price-war on Medicom stuff there that kind of force the prices down recently. I used to travel frquently to Singapore for work in my previous company (Dell Computer) and I remember that most Medicom RAH items were retailing for around SGD$250 to SGD$280 which is upwards of USD$170 after taking into account the exchange rates.

Hey guys I don't mean to dwell on this.. But just reading SSC info regarding Medicom's figure, here is part of the quote:

"Medicom Toy's RAH body is one of the most articulated 12-inch figure bodies available, capable of nearly any pose that the human (or alien) body can achieve."

Well like some of us said I believe this is the prototype and more pics of the final product woudl be nice to see what type of articulation/poses this fig can do. And I do hope the rubber suit is up to specs...

Has anybody seen the in-hand pics of the MGS4 Medi-figure? The funky looking one... that one also seems to have a full-body rubber suit. I suppose it's the type of material we might expect for the alien...

I've seen it, and I am not a big fan of him, mainly due to the lack or articulation he has.

yeah, that put me off this one too.
cos i doubt it will be in scale with the HT aliens
