Yup. I get my medi stuff for US$120 or SG$180 from my local distributor. And no shipping to boot as it's a local pick up.

I can vouch for Scarlet, we both get our Medicom figs from the same few local distributors and the price is always cheaper than what SS is charging.

Don't help people in the usa much cause of shipping i suppose, until BBTS or someone marks it down in 6 mos. But this shows that they are out there for less.

Maybe they are planning on releasing their own TIE Fighter Pilot and are hoping that by jacking up the price on this one their own will sell more.

I really don't understand how prices can change so much from continent to continent. HT prices in japan cost $40 - $60 more than medi (two face is listed at $240) and even sideshow's figure cost about the same or more than medicom. rebel fleet trooper is listed at $180 and SSC's stormtrooper is at $250. This is just nuts.

I'm usually the last one to complain about the prices, but the price tag on this one left me wondering why... The only thing I can think of - yen recently went up a bit, maybe Medicom price stayed the same, but conversion rate now is less favorable?

As a distributor Sideshow has to use the MSRP that comes from the manufacturer.

The Japanese ad on the first page shows 18,690 Yen. Today that's US$203.
