to be fair...they never said "Good Ideas". Me and FQRizzo just had lunch and pounded out about 20 ways to make that symbiote costume cool. Then confidently crossed each one off as possible storylines.

I have an idea we will wait 6 months for the identity reveal, only for them to say:

"Ohhh all your guesses were wrong! It was Bill from Oscorp accounting sub-level C ALLL along! You might remember we introduced his character in Spider-Man #132, page 8, top left pane in the mirror in the mens bathroom partially obscured by Parkers head. HA, you guys totally had no idea!"

At least they're trying to do something different instead of the same old static formula. Anyone who has been keeping up with venom for the last few years would know that this idea actually makes sense for the character.

Osborne pretty much used the symbiote in the same way with Gargan, except he wasn't strong enough to keep the monster in check. Maybe the current administration will have better luck?

the para-military look doesnt make a ton of sense for hobgoblin. Which means you are most likely 100% correct!

Knowing Marvel, it will be "Venom Venom". DEAR LORD the symbiot took over itself! RUUUUUN!

or maybe Winter Soldier Venom. OR maybe General Ross Venom. He's already Red Hulk...lets just throw a symbiote on there...

It's funny how some people who are speculating right now don't even follow the books or hasn't followed Marvel for quite some time.

If not for new ideas we would have a Wolverine who was actually a mutated wolverine. (the animal, yes.)
The same ideas that gave us Planet Hulk & the fantastic transition of James Barnes into the new Cap.
