Hey Hey Sideshow! Have you guys seen the new design for Venom from Rick Remender? The new Venom looks so awesome with the assault rifles and guns! I totally think that Sideshow should produce a Comiquette/PF for the new Black Ops Venom! I am sure it will be a hit!

Yes, we have seen it – and we’re in love too! There’s some significant enthusiasm within our design team, and it’s possible that the new Venom will jump into our planning sooner than later.

Lots of Venom love going on at sideshow. You would think it would be best to wait and see how the comic run does and how the design is received, but I guess Sideshow sees the loyalty to the character alone as enough to sell.

Hopefully the comic is good... But with Remender and Moore on the team, it's a pretty safe bet it will be great.

Remender kicks ass. Everyone in comics had pretty much the same reaction to the Hulk in gladiator gear for the Planet Hulk previews. These concepts live and die on the backs of writing. We'll see.
