True, the reason I'm not as concerned for tigers is I have about a million pairs of them already lol in all honesty I'm more concerned with the headsculpt than the clothing as military fatigues are relatively easy to come by.

When I think about what HT COULD make (not what they are likely to or any of that) it really gets me excited for the possibilities. Hell, I even have customs in the works or on the drawing board for sort of fan-fiction type stuff: the Cobras in WW2, MG and MG2:SS figures, stuff like that.

When you put it that way, it would be fairly simple to customize a BDU Boss figure. Just would need a faded blue bandana to wrap on her head.

BTW here's where i'm at on the Cobra Unit.
Almost there.

In order of appearance in the game.

Hey Seb
I real admire your work on the MGS series and was wondering if _you a breakdown of the parts you used for the figures especially ( the pain, the fury, the end, solid snake MGS2 ver.) also if the head sculpt on snake MGS2 ver. or the vest for snake MGS1 ver. were available. Thanks for enriching this little hobby _of mine so much with your vision and talents.

Oh yeah, that's a definite custom for sure. The Boss in her OD jungles with the cases for Davy Crockett.

Why buy some to flip? I know there's a lot of hate for scalpers and I personally don't care, but if these are getting or will be hard to come by, why buy more than you personally need?

I was going to do it with the entire MGS1 line and anything that comes after. What's wrong with making cash on them? I was going to get the whole MGS1 line and sell them in a bundle in a year or so.

I was going to open one of the Snakes but I guess I'll keep it.

No problem with making money on 'em....though that means you should never ever gripe about the cost of any action figure as it's because of people who "make money on 'em" that the prices on the secondary market go up so much.

Again, I'm not against selling your figures to make some extra $ (heck, I do it all the time though I almost always sell my stuff for retail or less), but it bothers me for some reason when people complain about the cost of figures yet they themselves help cause it (not saying that's you, just saying).

I understand where your coming from. I got into Hot Toys about 2 years ago with both those Wesker figures and I took a 350$ hit for each of them, didn't like it but I still went for it and didn't regret it.

Secondary market is insane though, inflating 200$ from retail. Speaking of which those things are going for 400-500+

I was more mad at myself for not buying it when retailers still had it.

yeah - that's what I mean - I had two of the Hot Toys MMS Elder Predator figures from AvP2 and sold 'em both for $220 each a month or so after they were released, which I thought was a good deal...until I saw only a few weeks ago that the figures were selling for $800+ quite often...DANG! Obviously some folks aren't affected by this economy...

The Play Arts ill never sell. I do have a RAH MGS4 Raiden new in box i wanna sell. How much does that go for nowadays?
Maybe it'll sell better around Revengances release date?

The one thing I could say about me selling these, they will be factory sealed brand new.

I don't trust anybody that has a figure that has a couple years on it and you list it as being factory sealed. Complete bull____.

Though I did buy the Medicom Croc Cap of Naked Snake off eBay and it was the original seal on it which surprised me. As it turns out it was a member on here. It was like 300$? shipped.

This was 2 years ago so that basically was inflation price.

I find it retarded people try to flip something and overprice it and no one touches their listing yet they won't budge on the price :cuckoo:

That hasn't been under 400$ for a while.

Idiot me bought him and blue Old Snake in one lot for 500$ :monkey2

If I ever did sell it I have a jacket for him.

Definitely wait for MGR dude. If Hot Toys doesn't jump on it you might be sitting on 500-600$
