^^ Always love your shots with the backgrounds makes them look real! Do you print out the backgrounds and then take the pictures or just photoshop?

Oh wow.. besides the fugly head-sculpts, the McFarlane figures actually seem to have better proportions than the Play Arts figures.

Thanks rampagesss ! A little of both. For these 2 shots they were prints and then I used photoshop for post editing. But some of the stuff I do is entirely photoshop. I use my flatscreen as a monitor too for backgrounds.

And a few of them come with a nice load of accessories. Snake basically came with everything except the PSG1.

SOCOM
FAMAS
Stinger
C4
Gas Mask
NVG

I just have him displayed with the SOCOM.

Did I miss anything? I own it but I forgot what he came with since I have all those McFarlane accessories stored.

So I have always wondered what are the square things inserted into Snakes forearms with his MGS1 costume? They are in both the original and twin snakes as well as the Konami Doll but I forgot about them until I got the figure today.

Rampagesss - VERY NICE!! You did an awesome job with those pictures.

Dylan - I've always assumed they were some type of protective inserts. Speaking of the Konami figures, it's a shame they weren't better made as they are pretty damn accurate to the source material. With that said, with some imagination and customizing skill, there are many useable pieces from those figures.

Thanks Jack D just trying to get some cool pictures like Sir Onesixth does heres some more

It’s Snake. I’m in front of the disposal facility

^Amazing! I guess that ThreeA opted to make the Outer Haven version of RAY from MGS 4. I would have preferred the Marines version from MGS 2 (the manned RAY prototype with a tail), but it still looks great.

I wonder how long it will be until the pre-order.

I would imagine that it will be up for pre-order same time next year that REX was.

Don't forget though, we had no clue that REX can be changed into the battle damage version so there is no reason to think he won't come with a removeable tail.

Yeah, it definitely makes sense that the pre-order is going to hit until next year - just to give us enough time to recover from the REX onslaught on our wallets :lol.

As for the differences of the two versions of RAY:

(1) The manned version of RAY from MGS 2 has the "Marines" logo plastered on the side of the legs, while the MGS 4 RAY has the logo for "Outer Haven".
(2) The MGS 4 RAY has a bluish tint on the "muscle structures" (beneath the arms, and around the legs) while it's pink for the MGS 2 version.
(3) MGS 2 RAY has pointed "knees", while it's flattened and squared on the RAY in MGS 4.

There are probably a few more differences that I'm not aware of. Quite frankly, I'd love to see if ThreeA manages to pull off two versions in a single release, by using removable panels (just like they did with REX). And if they could include a removable tail, that would be pretty cool.

I can definitely see them including removeable parts on the knees/tail but of course it would only be one paint scheme. If it would be anything I guess it would need to be the Outer Haven model since that's what I assume it's based off of.

I'm very curious in seeing how the complex RAY cockpit will be made.
