I'm talking about the fact that while HT can bring more details they def can't save such a complex figures from articulation/proportion/deterioration suffering.

Received my Play Arts MGS Solid Snake today. Great figure even though the silencer was warped for the SOCOM pistol (which apparently comes warped since in all cases it sits in the gun's holster on Snake's right leg). A little hot air from a hair dryer fixed it (and quick bit of chill from some cold water) and made it straight. The FAMAS rifle is sweet to. Joints are really loose so I went ahead and put him in one position and put him on a figure stand. Good stuff to hold me over until 3A's Metal Gear Rex comes out. Cannot wait for that!

My silencer is a little bent. Completely forgot I can just blow dry it to fix it.
I noticed the head on my is loose on the neck joint and comes off with little effort. It seems like the Peace Walker line is more sturdy.

Did you add the red dot "laser" to your socom pistol Dedguy? Nice touch!
Not to nitpick but where you painted the laser light is actually a flashlight and the laser is on the bottom section under that. But they didn't make a laser port for it for some reason.

Haha, I mean there is nothing wrong with that you did given they don't even have a proper laser port on it at all.
And I was wrong, the port is actually right under the barrel. There is two ports, one is a basic laser and I guess the other is a UV laser for NVG? This is the airsoft model but it's essentially the same thing.

I actually own one haha. You can try eBay, their kind of rare at this point but the price is still basically around retail.

Just looking at that picture just shows how that screwed up Snake's headsculpt. The Bandana is too tall and his face is ugly.
