£50 GBP usually is about $75-80 USD (which is what these ninjas are)

but 1 Euro is $1.30 anyway

Some people have a high sense of achievement when they buy something at higher price.

I believe it's something Asians do as a way to show off their wealth.

it's not racist, it's a culture thing. for example it's a custom to order more food than you eat and not finish it as a sign of doing well & wealth. you can ask those folks in Asia to clarify. might not make sense to the Western culture but that doesn't mean it's racial. It's a culture.

Having something new, trendy or valuable to achieve a certain social status regardless of their income is pretty common here in Thailand (ex. having an Iphone 4 , ipad or owning a car - especially with payment plans offer by credit card companies). But buying something at a higher price, that's just plain stupidity.

I'll get that MGSV Big Boss, but they need to fix that headsculpt. It's butt ugly.

I just scored a new copy of MGS 1 for $80 on Ebay. Really excited about it. I've seen new copies on Ebay for around several hundred. Those prices are just ridiculous, especially considering that tens of thousands of copies of MGS 1 were manufactured. It's not a limited item at all.

$80 does it come with the V.R Missions? Seriously i got mine for $10. If for collection Japanese version usually is more worth it since they always come with nice cover & color manuals.

Can't believe until now PS3 still using B&W manuals for some of their release.
