I pity the fool that tries to watch the MGS DGN movies. You can't make out what the heck is going on 90% of the time due to the art. Hilarious script though.

Personally I think his style suited the pace of the game and the art was one of the best things about PW ad PO.
Edit- Ahhhhhhh MGS1 and 2? Loved em, hence why I probably have the biggest collection of Originals from it bar Ashley Wood himself.

Also you have to bare in mind the "film" was made up of chopped up bits of the comic with overlays of "SNAP" "BOOOOOOM" and "DA FUQ'S GOING ON HERE?"

The movies are so bad they're good kinda way. Though they would have been much better as animated features. Ahsley Wood's art does indeed suit MGS, but strictly for static poses, once they start to move they look bad.

I think he must of been aware of it since he cleaned it up quite a bit in PW.

The majority of MGS2 art from the comics was actually drawn by Rufus Dayglo.
Rufus did all the hard work and Ash did his digital thing over the top.
Though Ash still did some sketch renders also.

His high end fine work is beautiful. I'm talking like $10k+ pieces.
I really like his non "toy" pieces.

But with art being subjective he can be very much so Marmite.

Jim Lee who's done DC and Marvel comics. Leinil Francis Yu I only know him from the Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk mini series, truly loved his style.

Thats true however the $490 from bambaland includes worldwide shipping.

For one thing $490 for RAY is overpricing and right before Christmas might be the most idiotic move I've ever seen a toy company do since I started this hobby.

I think his dynamic art best suits something like MGS.
He can really bring to life a scene with his wild brush/pen strokes.

I find broken line art the most appealing. Solid line too neat! TOO NEAT!

I find full line work more like engineering drawing.
You do well mate, would love to see some of your females like Meryl or Sniper.

Yeah threeA is all at once or nothing at all. They have you waiting up at daft times for a limited figure only for these scalpers with some kind of code that automatically puts it in their cart or something.

Gave up a while back now on those kind of drops.

I want to design my own pilots for rex/ray but dont know what to use. I had an idea yesterday whilst christmas shopping. I saw a guy at a kiosk doing 3d printing. He said hd can copy anything. Im thinking that maybe itd be cool to dupe copies of whatever i create. Itd also be cool cause if i get sculpts i like and someone else wants one i dont have to mold them myself. If someone would be so daring as to send me their bamba snake ex id try it out and if it came out nice id do a commission for everyone. If anyone is interested in helping me out we could strike a deal. Im not a scumbag and most certainly would give snake back to you. Pm me if interested plz.

Get him to copy a seated PAK liquid and reduce him down to whatever rex is.
