Got Twin Snakes in the mail last week. Gonna take some time to get used to the soundtrack, otherwise pretty neat! Glad to have it in the collection.

I like the game a lot. Think of it as a supplement to MGS1 rather than a substitute. I would never recommend the game to newcomers, since the over the top cutscenes actually detracts from the seriousness of the game.

Wholeheartedly agree! It's nice to revisit this version of Shadow Moses, but any newcomer should experience the original. Not very far yet, but I imagine the M9 is going to change the whole experience haha.

Yeah, it’s been shaping up quite nicely and the team that’s responsible for the game were senior developers of the old MGS games. Either way, it’s harmless fun and all you people condemning it are a sad bunch. If your best argument is “MGS is not a zombie game” then you really don’t have much ammo to bring into the argument aside from blind fanboyism.

Kojima makes or not makes a Metal Gear is irrelevant to me because he was the one who ruined the series with MGS4 onwards. I almost always thought Sessler was spot on but everyone hates him because he spoke an unbiased truth. Fast forward a decade and his controversial opinions are the status quo.

Sessler is a great critique. I loved X-Play growing up.

Definitely check it out if you can. I was bored to death of Acid1 (although it was still good) but Acid2 was just really sublime. There's a nice twist that I really love to spoil that's certainly worthy of the Metal Gear name too. I might be wrong, but I think PSP games could be emulated nicely on a PC nowadays.

I heard the story was good, I just hated that it was a card game. I hate those!

Peace walker and the Ac!d games should be remade for mobile phones or the Switch. They are great on the go games, better than 100% of games on the app store.

It's OK. I played one player, which I'd clearly wasn't designed for.

Really defence is not my kinda game so I didn't enjoy it. But on a technical level is good.

They mapped the controls differently and removed certain actions like diving for some reason
