Big Boss' games should've had their own title.

And they should of ended with Snake Eater. Kojima had to diarrhea in that story's soup.

Absolutely. I despise both sequels. They add nothing to the narrative, to the characters or to the series overall.

I do like the idea of Big Boss' double and it could be a cool game if done right. Alas...

I do like the idea of Big Boss' double and it could be a cool game if done right. Alas...

I said it before the game came out, but it would have been such a great story if MGSV was a "reverse Robocop". Venom discovers who he is, goes into a mental crisis like Robocop, and starts hunting down those responsible. Skullface is Boddicker and Big Boss is D. Jones. The final boss is none other than Big Boss but unlike Robocop, Venom gets killed. He pays for his mistake of not walking away, seeking "revenge" and BB is cemented as the villain. Better story.

Making Venom as the Big Boss that Solid Snake kills in MG1 is not only pointless, but raises waaaay too many plotholes to even talk here.

I can't think of a single good reason to play it. It doesn't have a single recurring MGS character, it's built on assets from the worst game in the series, it doesn't even take place in the same Universe therefore cannot affect the timeline what-so-ever and it has Corporate predatory practices. So why even bother? There are a bunch of games out right now and with God of War and Far Cry on the horizon you would be far better served saving your money.

Yep. There is nothing Metal Gear in this what so ever. So I really don't care about it in anyway. I dont see why anyone would be outraged by it.

Metal Gear has long been dead. Like Dylan mentioned, they don't care about Survive so much they flock to bash it.

Such insufferable divas.

Frankly, there was nothing more to do with the series. It was a nice ride, but I think it's long run it's course. There was only so many times you can put out pretty much the same formula with really nothing innovative to offer. Sons of Liberty was the peak.

MGS4 was an awful ending.

Peace Walker and MGSV were utterly pointless and offered nothing to the lore except more Japanesy horse **** that did nothing to deepen and expand the plot aside from making you feel dumber after taking it in.
