MGS 3 did a fantastic origin story with Big Boss, and up until several years ago, I would have considered it my favorite game of the series. But, there's just too much to love about MGS 1; from it's originality, to the closed nature of its storyline - in that, Kojima could have started and ended the series with just MGS 1 alone.

My list would be:

MG2
MPO
MGSGB
MG1
MGSPW

But to each their own.

Has anyone ever questioned Kojima about the circumstances that took place in the game (in a Q&A of some sort)? Like the question about MPO being a canon or not, but more in-depth. Rally want to know what he'd say about Eva's death. Or he'll just dodge the bullet and reply with something that would be convenient as nanos, Patriot keeping a watchful eye, etc.

Seriously, why did Eva throw herself into the fire after Solidus' body? That bit made no sense whatsoever.

Just finished several games of PW multiplayer with Ryan. We got our asses kicked gratuitously for a while, and then we started laying down the pwnage. You guys should really try it out if you haven't already. It's just like MGO, except slightly downgraded.

Phew. Yeah I'm beat. If anybody here would like to join, by all means please do. We tend to play late hours (USA time).

There are tons of elite players out there, and it's fun to gang up on them. The thing about Peace Walker's multiplayer is that it's not intimidating unlike most multiplayer games I've seen. I try not to play multiplayer games that are too complicated and Peace Walker is about as simple as it comes while still satisfying my third person shooter cravings.

Besides, enjoy the game while it lasts, the servers will inevitably shut down perhaps sooner than we might think.

Man, those AIs really need glasses . And talk about too many sub plots, from the beginning of the game.

Kojimas on the peacewalker dill still, its almost like he thinks of it as part one of the mgsv trilogy. I dont think peace Walker online is going anywhere anytime soon. It amazed me that he included the pw art book with the mgsv le. I wish i felt like playing it but i really lack the motivation to do so, I would have teamed up with you guys a long time ago.

We rarely get lag. My friend's 384kbps connection held up just fine.

My PSN is ryan_pliskin. Do let me know who you are in advance. Since you're in Thailand, that means we tend to have sessions from 3pm onwards.

Peace Walker has the worst storyline of any MGS game, with the worst AI of any MGS game. The extra ops and multiplayer are pretty fun, though.

I just love how they even resorted to the peace sign with the fingers and the names! Well said Solidus MGS V is probably worse since it's a full blown console game (well....kinda)

we should probably do a skype group for MGS PW. Easier to manage

Good call. I don't have a PS3 compatible headset, I tend to use Skype as a substitute.
