I was checking various videos of a specific side-op, and I noticed, everybody does it different to get the S rank, not 2 videos are the same, as it happens with linear games obviously, I understand why people are able to put so many hours into this game.

Side note; I was replaying PW on my PSP (cause I HATE how it looks on the HD collection) and I forgot how fun it was, I don't care, I like the story, I like the characters, I like the flamboyant singing robots, I don't ****ing care

You should play the HD Collection, so you can join Ryan and me in some Team Deathmatch, as we get ourselves creamed by the supreme Japanese players .

Yeah, the servers are alive and kicking. The people there are just too much, though. It was like a bloodbath last night... with the blood of me and Ryan being sacrificed at the hands of the supreme Japanese beings.

Yup it's total bull ****. No reversible jacket for Europe. Even though every single MetalGear released here has had Shinkawa art on the cover!

Man I wish I could play a few rounds with you guys but they're coming to pick up my PS3 tonight or tomorrow cause I sold it and it's already back in package, so I can buy a PS4 next month.

Aww, man. What's going to happen to all of your PS3 games? I had to buy a new PS3 earlier this month because my fat 80 GB model (from 2007) caught the YLOD nonsense. I'm definitely planning to get a PS4 by next year, the latest. Hopefully, it'll come with another exclusive MGS V edition console (I didn't like the GZ PS4 - it looked too much like a decal for my tastes).

Well I still have them, most of them I have them physical, I'm not a big special edition collector or anything, what I collect are mostly figures so it doesn't hurt as bad to sell the PS3 most likely along the way I'll get another PS3, the only thing that kinda annoys me is not being able to play the Arkham games for a while, but they'll release a collection or something for the PS4 I'm sure of it.

I never had a single problem with my PS3, I had the Slim version, never had the fat cause in the past generation I started out with an xbox360 but I got the RROD FOUR freakng times, I got it replaced 4 times, so I said "**** it" and switched back to SONY and never looked back, I don't even know why I went with the 360, I've been a Sony fanboy since the ps1 days.

Nothing wrong with that! this forum doesn't have the typical MGS fan crowd I think, a lot of people love PW out there in the world, the only thing some people really dislike are some elements of the sotry and that is always subjective. I adimt I had fun with that game but the missions before the final chapter are a big pain in the ***

Well it's got it's WTF moments but I love the campiness, the cutscenes, the gameplay, the story and the score, to my ears is still the second best score of the franchise.

I remember when it got released it was a summer, and I spent 2 nights wide awake beating the game in bed with my headphones on, like a freaking kid I can only say I had THAT much fun with the 1st MGS.

GZ had just the right amount of gameplay to make you want to play Phantom Pain.

One thing I felt they really let down on, why was the assault, defense and destruction of mother base all just a cut scene? Why wasn't it at least a part playable? I mean, there's a side op of shooting from a helicopter so why was the motherbase defense not done like that?

yeah it is well known but the fact it's playable or not I thought counted as spoiler, I don't even know anymore with this game .
