Really? The whole "I won't be playing it" was unnecessary, along with him writing things on twitter that he never had to justify his games length. He comes off as real childish and bitter. He should take aim at Kojima if he feels like that but he seems to keep making little digs at Kiefer for taking his job.

Just finished my first run of Ground Zeroes. 2 hours 10 min runtime. Gotta say i like it. It feels like a mix of MetalGear and the new Tomb Raider
My only negative in the gameplay is i want some more complex moves like in MGS4 back.

Keifer is great as BigBoss, I still hope for Hayters return as Solid, but im happy with the new VAs all around. Everyone upped their acting imo judging from the tapes.

Ill have a more comprehensive opinion on gameplay when i get back m with the other missions



Indeed, i had to put the volume waaaaay down when i realised where that was going looool.


Im loving the new intense delivery of the cutscenes now. Straight to the freaking point! And i like the new serous tone, although the comedy feels out of place.

I agree, Kiefer is Big Boss now.

The same can't be said for the pretentious idiots who have been harassing him online; like rubbing salt into an open wound, when all Hater wants to do is distance himself from MGS now.

What celebrity doesn't get harassed and taunted? That comes with the territory, hell, you guys were posting nonstop crap on Kiefer Surherland here. Kiefer seems to have cleaned up his act, and has been acting like a real professional these days, Hayter can learn a thing or two from him.

I dont get how you guys praise the VA in this either. Chico was certainly better and the dialogue from the prisoners was a step up from the weird beeping that happened in Peace Walker but everyone else under preformed IMO. Miller (my favorite character in the current story line) was just about unbearable. "they played us like a fiddle" and "It was ours!" where some of the worst delivered lines I have heard in a while. His weird impressions during the Deja Vu mission were borderline creepy.

The answer is simple, we're different people. I thought the voice acting was a step up from the previous games in the series, and Kiefer has finally made Big Boss into a separate character.

Today i actually got my own copy of GZ. And id previously only known Ps4, but i only have a ps3 so when i got it this morning i had a quick go on it. Just free roaming around the camp a bit. First thing i did notice was the graphics were bad on the ps3. I can forgive it because id rather they made the game with intentions of next gen in mind because i know its stunning on that. I can take the bullet. But still, its really noticeable.

Being able to sit down on my own though, one thing that really annoys me is during combat while you are mid-aim id like to be able to quick switch-out weapons. If im running low on ammo, keep aiming switch to another gun. But instead all the quick switch buttons do is knock your torch on and off. You have to completely stop aiming and change your gun in the heat of battle which more often than not nearly gets you killed. I also find cqc to be kind of bugged. Alot of times i half run-crouch towards people ill initiate cqc then it goes in to reaction time on the same guy i initiated cqc because for some reason it half lets go like i didnt quite get him, all though i did, ill go to cqc again while still in reaction time but the whole base is already alerted. Which makes no sense.

But i started on the side missions for the first time, and i got so offended i literally knocked it off after i realised what was going on. I was on a mission to hunt 2 guys, im given 2 rough general areas of where they are. So i go to one, sneak really take my time and do it the proper way. Once i get there i get a message along the lines of " the enemy has moved, he must be somewhere else " so i thought screw it. I like the engine and all. But im not going to have the piss taken out of me. So im going to play some Revengeance.

I will say, this is a game that really feels like it should have multi player. The map is so big, it has so many people, it has so much to do that it feels lonely on your own. Its perfect for multi player co-op.

He's got every right to be bitter about it, but he's not acting like a baby about it at all.

Dude, are you on Kiefer's payroll or something? As much as I like him (As Jack Bauer) there's no replacing Hayter. Not that we can do jack about it now, it is what it is and he (Keifer) did a fine job, no question.

Look at his twitter, he just posted another pic of Kiefer Sutherland, also I don’t know why people act like Hayter is divine. For as long as I can remember, a fair amount of fans, have criticized Hayter for his MGS 4 and PW performances. I can ask you if you’re on Hayter’s payroll as well. I also wasn’t even comparing them game wise, my comment had to do with how Hayter has been "acting” in real life.

You should totally use shopto.net , ive been using them for a while and i usually get the game a day or 2 prior to release. I got lucky last year and for some reason i got Resident Evil 6 like 5 days early. Usually us UK folk get the shaft on release dates but shopto helps bridge the gap with their early shipping

I don't know, it could be a massive ploy, but who's to know? Be amazing if TPP comes out and the last half is Metal Gear and you play as Solid Snake (David Hayter) fighting Big Boss (Kiefer Sutherland).

Incredibly unlikely, but one can dream.

I don't think this will be a ploy, Hayter does seem to be acting at points with the being sad but I can't see them pulling something for this long.

That's what I'm saying, it seems weird, not many celebrity's act like this, other than the Chris Browns and Biebers of the world. I think Hayter is just keeping up with the trolling and he will make a surprise appearance in TPP.

Deja Vu has such an odd atmosphere, it just feels slightly horror-ish. It has some MGS1 tints that I think should have actually been in the proper game, the encounter remix and everything just makes it feel more of an MGS and it works well, even with the realistic tone

As I clearly mentioned before, I'm a huge fan of Kiefer's, and unlike most others who post in this thread, I've been following his career for years and I've seen every episode of 24 that has ever been aired. I've accepted his weirdness, and whatever jokes I do post is all in good fun.

It's a stark contrast to the idiots who have been harassing Hayter on Twitter just to get a ride out of the poor guy.

Even if he was overdoing it a little in MGS4 and PW, I never thought he did bad. Ppl are horrible.

Glad to know there's a fellow 24 fan here, lol. I watched every single episode like three times, and can't wait for the new season! And hopefully some other company (NOT EB) can give us a great Jack Bauer figure.
