I was on the website at 2:40 ish EST and I watched the counter slowly count down. they went fast

You have to be kidding! They spontaneously had 30+ more available and they're gone again already?! WTF

I'm not too hip to the way Mezco does things thru their site or handle their exclusives (I'm familiar with most of their products, but I only own some old Cinema of Fear figs). Is it possible for another X amount of exclusives to pop back up on their site, of is it truly eBay or nothing at this point?

What about the PX & regular? Would Mezco re-release these, or is it now or never?

:gah::gah: Damn!

Of all the awesome stuff at Comic Con this year, all I really cared to own was the trio of little Fat Bats :lol

I just called Mezco and got a little info. I guess they give you 2 weeks to pay and the ones that resurfaced today were from canceled/busted orders. He also confirmed that those were truly the last 30 and all of those orders processed, so there won't be any more popping back up.

*grabs Vaseline and logs on to eBay* :(

I'd just let it go for now man, especially if you already have the black/grey reg. and blue/yellow oval PX ex. Between the two of them, you basically have the Mez exclusive. Those prices on ebay are outrageous, the amount of bidders absolutely kill it.

I bet if you waited it would pay off, either from the secondary market prices dropping later as this line gets more figures OR if Mezco happens to produce more of their exclusive version in the coming months/next year. There's always a second chance. Let's face it, this is Mezco we're talking about. They're all about their rerelease and variations. It gets to the point where it's obnoxious. I bet these aren't even the last TDKR Batman figures they do. I bet they milk it further with a "muddy version" of the black and grey, and a bloody battle damaged blue/grey, or a black and yellow oval.

yeah muddy or battle damage is a must for mezco to consider i think based on the popularity of these. can totally imagine the announcement- "based on the demand with have decided to offer a 2nd wave of TDKR bats with muddy and battle damaged deco variants" asked them on FB. if i get a answer will report back here.

muddy 2 pack with mutant leader? if that happens im sold................

I hear ya man, but it's a tough one for me. I was pretty bent on getting all three from the beginning and this was the version that I wanted the most. I know that it's based on lighting/shading and the colorists' interpretation, but it's my favorite scheme of the 3. Same way I know that Hallmark's CC EX isn't exactly accurate (especially for the specific pose), but I still really dig it and I'm happy they went that route instead of black.

I not willing to go as high as that eBay listing that's currently pretty up there, but I know that retail price is not a possibility at this point. I'm scowering around and trying to land a deal on the low spectrum of the inflation :lol

What's the deal with Mezco? Do they pull that kind of re-release horse s__t? I don't mean muddy or bloody variants, I mean would they re-release these exact versions?

Im picking the regular B&W from my LCS today. Got the last one in stock there. Luck I called today.

That's happening everywhere. Mezco over sold the hell out of these from what I'm gathering. Most shops got a fraction of their order. I've called around because I want to get doubles of the PX and B&G, and most places said that they didn't get many and they sold out fast. My buddy who has a shop said that Diamond cut his order down and said he definitely can't get anymore

I did manage to snag another PX from a local shop, and ordered the last B&G from BBTS that popped up a couple of days ago

That sucks! I had the figure in my wishlist with my email attached and -according to their site- would be notified if anymore were available. I will definitely be contacting them concerning this!

just disappointed, thats all.

I'm sure i can get a replacement from bbts but i was soooooo looking forward to this one.

I got my crappy one all the way over here in Japan. I think it's just luck of the draw.

Doesn't seem nearly as wide-spread as the BTAS debacle, or even the rubber rot from Hot Toys...but it's still a concern when you open a damaged figure and because it's sold out there might not be a replacement.

A more sobering thought....what if this starts to happen to ALL of these figures in months or years?

My Black and Grey version was perfect. sucks but hopefully i can get an exchange from BBTS. As a back up i do have another on order from entertainment earth, wanted to keep one moc.

but yeah that was straight out of the box. I'm just glad i checked it straight away, sometimes my figures sit for a week or so before i have to time properly get to them.

Tony Mei's got your back.

I thought he wasn't selling suits for these figures? I just bought the blue and gray one from Amazon. I'm still not all that excited about this line, but the way everyone is ranting and raving about them, probably best if I get one in-hand to make sure.
