Super Freak
I think I read somewhere that it was now or never, once they are gone they are done.
You have to be kidding! They spontaneously had 30+ more available and they're gone again already?! WTF
I'm not too hip to the way Mezco does things thru their site or handle their exclusives (I'm familiar with most of their products, but I only own some old Cinema of Fear figs). Is it possible for another X amount of exclusives to pop back up on their site, of is it truly eBay or nothing at this point?
What about the PX & regular? Would Mezco re-release these, or is it now or never?
I was on the website at 2:40 ish EST and I watched the counter slowly count down. they went fast
Damn!
Of all the awesome stuff at Comic Con this year, all I really cared to own was the trio of little Fat Bats
I just called Mezco and got a little info. I guess they give you 2 weeks to pay and the ones that resurfaced today were from canceled/busted orders. He also confirmed that those were truly the last 30 and all of those orders processed, so there won't be any more popping back up.
*grabs Vaseline and logs on to eBay*
I'd just let it go for now man, especially if you already have the black/grey reg. and blue/yellow oval PX ex. Between the two of them, you basically have the Mez exclusive. Those prices on ebay are outrageous, the amount of bidders absolutely kill it.
I bet if you waited it would pay off, either from the secondary market prices dropping later as this line gets more figures OR if Mezco happens to produce more of their exclusive version in the coming months/next year. There's always a second chance. Let's face it, this is Mezco we're talking about. They're all about their rerelease and variations. It gets to the point where it's obnoxious. I bet these aren't even the last TDKR Batman figures they do. I bet they milk it further with a "muddy version" of the black and grey, and a bloody battle damaged blue/grey, or a black and yellow oval.
Im picking the regular B&W from my LCS today. Got the last one in stock there. Luck I called today.

just disappointed, thats all.
I'm sure i can get a replacement from bbts but i was soooooo looking forward to this one.
I got my crappy one all the way over here in Japan. I think it's just luck of the draw.
Doesn't seem nearly as wide-spread as the BTAS debacle, or even the rubber rot from Hot Toys...but it's still a concern when you open a damaged figure and because it's sold out there might not be a replacement.
A more sobering thought....what if this starts to happen to ALL of these figures in months or years?
