Sounds like the writer kind of didn't really do too much research and just got a Cole's Notes version of the basic Turtle dynamic... Just a tad scary. I can see that they'd want to forge their own version of the origin though. It's been done many time a few different ways. Not to say we NEED another origin story. I liked the way both the Nick Toon and the original movie handled it. Less than a minute, here's what happened, here's why we're here, lets move on...

"Turtles Forever" does a really great job of taking you through all the different iterations and how they've been drawn and how they've been rendered.

And here it is, the face of yet another bigheaded (or maybe idle-headed) hypocrite.
TF is an abomination, created out of unbearable hate to late 80s - 90s TMNT. It is biased beyond comprehension and stupid as hell.

Sounds more honest than hypocrite to me, at least we know he wasn't a fan :lol and he didn't pull the old "I'm a big hardcore fan guys, like you :joy give me the benefit of the doubt" like most people do these days to gain the sympathy of the fans :lol

WTF :cuckoo: I only ever remember Shredder with badass blades running down his arms. Yes they were mentioned in jest by the turtles but he always looked badass
 
I would love to read Peter Laird's opinion on this trailer :wink1: He was always a stickler for keeping his characters pretty true to what they were originally. I wonder what his ideas for the live action movie where before he sold the property to Nick?
 
Last thing I heard from him regarding this movie, was him basically saying Fox is nothing more than promotional value and there's literally 100 actresses better suited for April than her.
 
The movie looks okay, The turtles look fine. Nothing looks really horrible.

The biggest problem is going to be the over use of Shaky Cam and quick cuts that the director is known for. That stupid guy is Addicted to Shaky cam, Look at Battle LA.

That might be what truly ruins this movie
