I agree,I just would want to see the Joes looking like the colorful comic book characters that they are....I am not sure Bay would comply (see Lego transformer bionacles films and now hulk turtles )

You forget though. Loud, obnoxious outfits to differentiate the characters is his forte! Which means we might get 90's versions.

So Bay got his hands on the Transformers cash and now the TMNT cash. What toy line is next?!

Well let's see there's thundercats, heman,bionicle. He seems to detest 80 cartoons so suppose all those shows are in jeopardy .

The irony here is that if Bay have had a hold of GI JOE we would have had a better couple of movies.

Seriously GI Joe is Way worse than Transformers, Way way worse. I can at least watch Transformers and only be mildly annoyed. they are not the best but whatever, they are passable.

But GI JOE.... What a piece of --- those movies are examples of how not to make a movie. They are a horrible joke, they really are worse than Tranformers. As far as toy line goes, Those movies win in being the biggest turds, Even bigger than Transformers (And the turtles probably )

Stephen Sommers was responsible for VAN HELSING and The Mummy 2 and 3. Yet he never gets the hate that Bay gets. I know Bay is stupid but sometimes people just love being part of a group that hates something. Sommers is a hack compared to Bay, yet You barely ever hear anyone say anything about him.

I dunno, Sommers got plenty of flack for Van Helsing. First time in a LONG time a movie made it's own merchandise pretty much worthless.

Whilst the shot of Leo jumping and landing on the wall looks cool if you look at it again he actually breaks the bricks on the wall, not very ninja like.

I still cant get over how the 1990 turtles still to this day look more believable than this. As a turtle fan i'll see it but man does mikey look like Shreks cousin.

in the short glimpse we got, shredder looks much better than the old 90's version, but yea, those Turtles in costume look about as good as it could get on film. Not digging anything I saw from that trailer. Could care less about Fox, the most important thing is the Turtles. Even if they put a great actress in the role, it wouldn't make a difference if the Turtles suck.

If there's one thing the original movie killed with the shredder, it was his voice. He sounded like a villain and a straight up badass. I'm looking at William Fichtner and I can't see a badass voice, just some almost soft spoken guy in armor. I'm hoping he sounds awesome but I'm actually expecting them to change his voice completely, like his shredder armor is all powered or something.

Rather I can't hear although once as a teenager when I was higher than a zeppelin, I thought I could see sounds.

I just can't see WF as shredder. I can see him as turning into a mutant or something but not shred. Plus, as big as the turtles are, they are going to need Kevin Nash ton come back and battle them. Otherwise, the turtles will be giggling when short shredder threatens

Disagree. I was 17 when the movie came out and was amazed at how good they looked. I look on that now, at 40, and then look at this, and I'm still impressed with, as I said before, how the creature effects from a movie almost 25 years old can still kick the *** of a movie coming out this year.

Leo does look the best. I'm still waiting to see The Incredible Raphael-Hulk in action before I decide on him.
