The first movie's suits would definitely make the best HT figures. I dig the second film's suits too, but I miss the yellowy blemishes and imperfections the skin had. As lifelike as a human-sized turtle suit could be, that was it.

The new Turtles look awful . At least the costumes from the first and second movies were inspired from the old animated series.

Truth. TMNT2 suits looked good, but they were visually skewed a bit too much towards the Archie Comics look, or the cartoon's look. 1990's suits were the perfect encapsulation of the turtles. And that movie still completely holds up.

Lol As much as people would want and as much as they would sell HT wouldnt do it. I'd be chewing my own foot off if they announce they even had the license to do them. Sideshow may but Hot toys. Yea right.

If hot toys got the original film license and dropped all 4 turtles at the same time, I wouldn't hesitate to drop that kinda cash. As long as HT didn't screw if up, I could see them being a huge seller.

Knowing HT though, you'd get Leonardo, Shredder and April and they'd abandon it in favor of making the next 6 IM suits from Avengers 2. Then just when you thought you'd get another release, BAM!, another TDK Batman.
