This is about design isn't it? In that case as much as TAS is classic, briefs don't make sense anymore.

So, they can at least "fix" that.

Also, how people satanize the word "modernization", it's just silly.
When did briefs EVER make sense??? Come on.. :lol

Yeah, the strong man thing, sure. FF decades later, & it's obvious that the designs work for these characters, because the aesthetic premise has longevity. Like I've said in the DC threads, those attributes can certainly be incorporated into a modern look; like making Kal's belt & the briefs design merge into an integrated look.

Anyway - these new.. 'turtles' look like ****. Stop trying to philosophize them otherwise. :lol

The old April looked like Conan O' Brian in drag.
What a stupid comment. :lol

I've seen the briefs tried to be "integrated" and they don't look good, you'll always have the "brief look", they had longevity because DC took well enough to realize they didn't work past their time, you'll notice that Marvel characters were among the 1st to lose the briefs, you don't see anyone complaining about Wolverine not wearing undies when he stopped wearing undies.

In fact, people ***** about Superman not having briefs because his costume hardly changed at all during the decades, Marvel's designs evolved while DC, like everything DC does seems to be set in stone and you have a storm of whining and sobbing when they try to change something.

Bottomline, briefs just don't work nor aesthetically nor on any other level anymore, it's a good thing their time has passed.

Anyway - these new.. 'turtles' look like ****. Stop trying to philosophize them otherwise. :lol

Nah, these designs are badass.

If you don't like them that's cool, but trying to rationalize the complaints on these new designs over the old ones is just silly.

New TV spot. Crap quality. First offical look at the Turtle Van though!
