You would assume wrong. But it doesn't matter. I am surprised by how bumbed I am feeling.

No not really. Harrison (Leader of the group) had a pretty damn good upbringing actually. As for the rest of the group? Broken homes i'm sure but I was trying to make a point about Michaels childhood.

Harrison was the leader of the group huh? :lol You obviously know very little about the Beatles. Next? (But I agree he and Paul both had it relatively good... Ringo and John on the other hand, not so much). But I don't see what any of that has to do with anything in this thread.

That is correct, what exactly is your point? I was trying to make a point comparing Michaels childhood to members of the Beatles. No I am not a Beatles fan and know very little about them.

Pffffft douche.

Wiki and google are friends. ;)

But this isn't a pissing contest on who had it worse. Ultimately, having a cushy childhood ain't gonna make your more talented. Schooling, more options certainly but people like MJ just have natural aptitude and ability.

Feeling recalcitrant, pix?

So You Think You Can Dance did a mini-tribute and played some of the Thriller video (which it looked like they downloaded off of youtube).

Nigel commented that he got a call from Fred Astaire about how astounded he was by MJ's dancing, specifically the moonwalk.

Hehe I knew I wasn't that off about the Beatles. :D

I'd say Jackson was a far bigger influence than Lennon. The man ruled the 80's. Not just in America but the entire world and it continued to this day.

But seriously, to honor the man, Michael Jackson, we don't need to have a ^^^^^ length comparison.

I solemnly agree with you.

:lol :lol :lol

This will always be colossal to the music industry!
