Alot of them have several doctors who may or may not know what the other is giving them. I know people who do this also.

I think Heath Ledger had doctors in different countries giving him different things.

Then they didn't or I guess forgot to tell their doctors what meds they were on.

In the really real world though most doctors request your medical records be sent to them before they decide to diagnose you. So take that as you will.

I guess both would be at fault.

just heard weird anecdote during the news coverage about his commitment to fans.

Apparently, while filming his Pepsi commercial, he was using the bathroom and he dropped his famous glove in the toilet and it had to be fished out. In the next scene he was famously burned by pyrotechnics. As he was being wheeled away, he grabbed the pee soiled glove and put it on to wave to the fans.

Depends on what the ailment is. Ledger was getting pills because he was having trouble sleeping and for nerves. I'm sure he could've gotten those easily from a couple of doctors.

When my father was dying, I got pills from 3 different doctors. Xanax, Valium and something else I don't remember. I didn't like any of them and just dealt with what I had to deal with, but it's very easy to get things.

Jackson was supposedly on pain meds since his Pepsi commercial accident. Just like Elvis, if he wanted anything, he could get it.

Only a handfull of people have ever acheived world wide 'icon' status imo. People use the term pretty loosely now, but there have been VERY few I see as true icons. Michael Jackson was one of those people, like Elvis or Mohammad Ali. He changed the face of music and left a lasting impact that will never be forgotten. His personal life is a stain that cant be overlooked or erased, but from a purely musical stand point it is a huge loss.

Sad day for fans of Michael Jackson.

really? It even had a spelling error - which made me think it was really written by Chase. :lol

No one can misspell like me :lecture

I am not really a fan of Jasksons, I like a handfull of his music, but have never actually owned any of his stuff. But you cant overlook what he accomlished in his life, both good and bad. He is as iconic as Coke, instantly recognizable.

I didnt know him personally, only what I saw in the media. So my personal feelings on what he may or may not have done are irrelevant.

He was an icon of music and hugely talented. He should be remember for what he contributed to music, which is historical fact.

My 2nd fav Jackson bit (first being Moonwalker videogame):

I love how morphing from a panther is the least over the top sequence. :lol
From MJ smashing "KKK rules" graffiti and then zipping up his fly to
the 'screw you Royal Arms Hotel, there can be only one!' Highlander finale, it's all so WTF..

Even if everything bad that's ever been said about him were true, it doesn't diminish his contribution to or influence on music and pop culture.
