Wow I was on vacation for a week and the first day we landed, I heard the news....

So sad, put a kink in the whole vacation I grew idolizing him. And I've been a fan all these years even when people didn't stand by him. I'll miss him, this comeback tour truly was going to be his big bang and epic closing. I'm sad I'll never see him perform again.

What really gets me now is all these people all of a sudden acting like fans when they were not showing an ounce of love when he was alive...fair-weather fan at it's lowest.
R.I.P. MJ.

How is it fair weather if he is dead?

Caught some of his last concert prep... goose stepping? Dancing Soviet & Chinese military style? WTH? That was his late, great dance move?

I bet their will be Doctors and RX's coming out of the woodwork from this investigation (not hard to come to that conclusion)...definitely moreso than Anna Nicole and possibly worldwide.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The powerful sedative Diprivan was found in Michael Jackson's home, a law enforcement official said Friday.

Diprivan is an anesthetic widely used in operating rooms to induce unconsciousness. Also known as Propofol, it's administered intravenously and is very unusual to have in a private home.

The law enforcement official spoke on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak about the matter.

Also Thursday, information was released about registering for free tickets for Jackson's public memorial, which is set for Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Authorities are investigating allegations that the 50-year-old Jackson had been consuming painkillers, sedatives and antidepressants. Any criminal charges would depend on whether Jackson had been overly prescribed medications, given drugs inappropriate for his needs, or if doctors knowingly prescribed Jackson medications under an assumed name.

Ugh... that's gotta be one of the nastiest pieces of crap ever done in the history of "journalism"...
:yuck

I'm gonna go ahead and disagree. I'm a fan of MJ, and there was some very questionable and disturbing behavior to me in that piece. (especially with the baby)

I like MJ a lot bro, but there can be no doubt the guy was bat ^^^^ crazy in the latter years of his life man. Like i said before though i might be too if i was in his shoes, i just wish people would remember him for the good times. But let there be no doubt, he was ^^^^ing OFF at the very least from the 90's on. (my point is people should try to judge less, even though it's hard)

RIP MJ.

You are probably the most sensible sounding of his fans.

In the aspect of grieving, I do think that most would prefer to remember the good deeds of a person. Being a child of the 80's, Michael Jackson does bring back a lot of fond memories.

However, I do have a problem with those in the media and culture equating celebrity with divinity. We all have faults and have done things that we aren't proud of, but to create a glossy veneer over one's life is an injustice to the person and history.

Is he the one that started the lame crotch grabbing while dancing thing. I hope that crap dies soon. It looks so stupid, only matched by his last goose steppin' marching moves. Too bad I can't fast forward to next year, but not on his death anniversary. Hell, talk about over saturating the media, news, etc...

You know... for being such a hater,
you sure spend a lot of time devoted to Michael Jackson,
Maybe deep down you're a fan just as everybody else? :lol:lol

The interesting thing is that the news media is reporting that he was addicted to sedatives, they are also reporting that he used to go in for small procedures including small plastic surgeries. IF this is true then I wonde if the plastic surgery "addiction" they reported was actually just a cover for this addiction to sedatives? If it is true it'd make the plastic surgeries more tragic and it'd make more sense especially considering how drastic the changes towards the end.

Hmmmm......that does make you wonder since they showed on E! that it looked like he was doing small steps to reconstruct his nose. Why go to such an extreme and then back again?

Whoever his plastic surgeons were, they need to have their licenses taken away.

Whoever his plastic surgeons were, they need to have their licenses taken away.

Why?
Because they gave the customer what he wanted?
No responsibility at the feet of Wacko Jacko?
