That's actually a good idea Mike. I feel bad for the people picking up the head and clothing sets because it won't include the shotgun. Which in my opinion, feel should have been included as a regular accessory. :dunno

He actually does wear the chain with this outfit in the very next scene after he makes the deal with the Sundays. Not sure about the pens. :lecture

Salute hommie :duff I'm glad you agree. He wears the chain in the very next three scenes :lol But your right, no pens at the dinner table, just the pipe in his pocket. Good eye bud. Pens are only in scene 3 & 4 of the 4 that I listed. And the tie is in 2,3 & 4.

I think that these extras are as necessary as the changes Woffard mentioned to improve and add versatility to this piece. If other people think so, then now's the time to speak up and show intrest before it's too late. As I said they should be removable so you can display him purely quail hunt style, or as he appeared in the following scenes(and really, most of the movie).

Woffard and Teddy are maybe the biggest fans(along with myself :)) of this character here still left as interested buyers. These extras aren't something that you guys would like to see?

I'm a massive fan of the movie and was eagerly awaiting this but I agree about the accessories , not only the fact that the shotgun isn't included in the clothing set but that the only other accessories aren't important or don't make much sense ( other than the pipe of course ).
As much as I'd like the rest I just can't feel comfortable paying over what's likely to be £300.00 for just the clothing and a sculpt before shipping , a body and paint work. I know it should be expected for Rainman's work to be expensive but something about this just feels incomplete to me.

I actually don't think any other accessories would make me want to purchase the clothing set other than the shotgun simply because of the outfit choice.

Good eye Shorty. Yes I agree a button is definitely needed to sort that out.

Yes I addressed the cut with Rainman and he said it would be fixed.

Also talking to Rainman about a few more tweaks that Woff mentioned yesterday.

Quick one.. Will the head on the head and clothes set come painted ?

The little nit pick I have is the hat. The tan colour used on the ribbon and rim should be more of a more milk chocolate colour.

I have also asked if he can address the colour used on the wood of the shotgun.

My first impression was that the hat was off too. I felt it was much more dulled down in the movie and RM's appeared a little vivid. I think that "milk chocolate" is is a better way to describe the color of the main part of the figure's hat as it stands now.

I'm not sure if they used two different hats for different scenes. If they didn't, then it's a lighting issue(like Alien pulse rifile, Solo's Bespin outfit). But it looks like in most indoor shots, it appears duller/washed out and in sunlight, the color is more rich/vivid. If he was going for the richer look, then I think that he's pretty close right now.

But you're right about the trim. Rainman's has a yellowish undertone and in these "rich" pics, it has more of a tan/beige undertone.

Would still like to see the sweat marks added in though :)

For me its not so much the color of the hat, as its the lack of texture. I'm not wanting flocking, but a variation of surface would be great. Bill's top hat had a slight texture.

Yes, it's pretty easy as long as you are using paint with some body to it. Instead of brushing it on, you use an up and down dabbing motion so just the ends of the bristles are touching. But I'll bet Rainman is casting the hats in brown resin and painting on the beige banding. He also uses oils to paint with in very thin layers so unless the sculpt has the texture already there, it won't be there after painting. It's a minor nit but one that I think could add to the look of the figure.

I do think that this figure really needs some weathering to pull it all together. My favorite part of this guy is his boots. So awesome. Would love to see that level of "finish" through he whole figure.
