What's it matter vodoun, this thread's going to be pretty meh for the next 5 months, look at the Joker thread, other than him showing up at the Japan toy show and Comic Con, there's been very little new for months, it'll be the same with this Batman, probably won't see much new, maybe someone else taking pictures of him at Toy Hunters, for the next 5 months until the figure ships.

The difference is, the Joker is getting released fairly soon and thats what people are talking about. It's new news.

Analyzing the size of the head for Batman etc etc etc has all been covered numerous times on this subject. You're telling me you're going to keep talking about the same old stuff with no new material for the next 1 - 2 months... until anything new shows up that is.

I'm all for a discussion but at least discuss something new. Not something that has been beaten into the ground endlessly. It's all been covered. It now looks like the film Groundhog Day on this subject. The only difference is Groundhog Day was class and funny. This is boring talk. On and on and on about the same things. Anytime I see this bumped I think something is new until I see the same old discussion from weeks/months ago.

iiiiiive still got my fingers crossed for scarecrow. I lke to believe with hot toys anything is possible.

Me too, scarecrow would be awesome, i'm actually surprised he was overlooked. I'd totally go for a scarecrow or gordon, anyone else i dont think i'd be interested.

Well what I'm confused on is what you think there is to talk about. Other than continued discussion over whether this figure is an improvement over the first figure or the Medicom Batman, I don't know what else there is to say, praising the cool parts about the figure is pretty cut and dry, and without actually having the figure, I just don't know what else you can say right now. It's been the same with Joker, what's fixed, what isn't, when's it shipping. After the first month past the initial orders and all, things get pretty dull or redundant until shipping.

If we do get another figure and it isn't Bruce I wand a Gordon hands down. Seeing as they haven't done him before I'm thinking if it's someone new it won't be a dx. I could be wrong though.

I would kill for a Gordon but I'm pretty sure they have clearly stated they can't get the likeness rights. I don't own any of the TDK figs but I'd buy a Gordon in a second.

Yeah, Oldman's performance was epic. The one scene that comes to mind when I think of that movie is the end scene when he is talking to TwoFace. Fantastic acting and scene.

Ya know, after looking back through my numerous pics of the v1 and seeing how good, (I feel personally), I got it to look and how pleased I was when I actually owned it, if this is even just marginally slimmer than that, I am going to be happy when it arrives.

I think I have become too critical pver the past year or so collecting and kind of need to step back a bit and appreciate the coolness of what we are getting with these things.

There's critical, and there's sort of "investigating.

I really believe most of the critical commenting and photo working on this figure has mainly been to explore how much this figure was improved over the first. If this had been a one and only figure, I bet the comments would be half or even less than they've been.

Many comments end with "doesn't look much better than v1" basically comparing the two, not taking the DX just at what it is, and HT invited people to look at the figure that way by making the DX and essentially saying the first wasn't their best work, here's a better one with more goodies. It invites the consumers to go ok, just how much better did you make it, and the talk has been about just that.

Supposedly this figure is going to be released sometime between May/june of next year!!
