Either way keep the shots coming. I wasn't too jacked about this figure after Dlx Joker but a must have IMO.

What do you mean?

The light always makes or breaks this cowl even in certain angles. If you look at the cowl high up it looks skinny. If you look at it face on it's the perfect width.

If the light hits one side but pitch black on the other it can look very skinny. Even the same when it hits certain spots of the angled sides of the cowl as it changes direction. It'll make or break the look.

That's better, those shots look rather nice indeed. Now, cape him up desk guy, and give us some more pics! Looks like a custom cape from lforigno could be mandatory!

I get that, but it still looks elongated in that pic, especially with the v1 besied it looked wider and rounder on the sides. My ideal Batman head would be the DX face on the v1 silhouette from this photo.

The difference in detail crispness and overall accuracy between the two are staggering. Did they use a different material for the new suit?

The DX is further to the right to the camera lens. Making it look thinner because you can hardly see the right side of the head appearing flat. Where as the v1 is nearly centered. Both sides are nearly even in sight.

The thing is it's been proven endless times with these type of not very good photos. How many times has it been said when they had it in hand how different it looked.

So many photos that aren't very flattering. Quick rushed jobs.

I don't care if it's longer than the v1, I just like the overall shape to be rounder and less long looking by itself.

I will still hold final judgement for in hand, but overall, but for the Cool Toy Review SDCC shots, the cowl looks elongated like the Medicom in photos.

still it will probably be about a month or 2 before stocks start arriving in my local shops....argghh

No, just the shape of the edge from his chin to his ears, it looks fairly straight and in closer towards his eyes, the v1's got that slight curve, makes it look more rounded and a little wider.

I think he turned out to look awesome! Held out on the V1 for this bad boy! Was I the only one who was really excited to see the new packaging? Love those Batarangs!

Still need to see better pics of these.

Unlike the joker, which was an instant crowd pleaser, this one seems to have a fair share amount of pros and cons. This shouldn't be the case at all for a product with the 'DX' label.

Comparison pics of the bale in the TDK suit with this one would be great.

I would imagine they would have to be plastic even with whatever limited health and safety regulations Hot Toys may be subject to - just can't see them getting away with supplying metal batarangs!!

The armor is a vast improvement not only over the TDK New Suit v1, but also over the prototype(s?) in the official pics on page 1 (and the HT store display figure).

Looking at these pics, you can see changes and/or improvements in almost every area of the figure compared to the proto (which some have said was just a modified v1 suit). The armor has a more realistic and accurate layered appearance.

Yup. Spot on there mate, I especially like the stomach armour improvements. It's perfect now! The stomach armour was really one of the worst things about V1 for me, so i'm proper pleased they've improved it.

I remember posting a comparison picture ages ago of the protoype figure along side the same photo but with the stomach armour taken from the real costume photoshopped onto it. It improved the look of the figure no end and now they've finally done it it's great.

The chest and stomach armour are 100% spot on for me now. Looking at shots of the real bale in the suit it's a prefect match.

Hot toys really have improved everything. I think once more shots start showing up of this we will all really start to appreciate how good it is.
