Holysmokingbatballsonastick, we have oilage! What do i do now lol?! I'll post a pic tomorrow, battery is charging. Are they replacing suits because of this? Or only peeling?

hahaha.. yeah the oilage is there on mine too - but doesn't really bother me TBH. Can hardly see it.

Leads me to believe though, if it's sweating perse, it will start peeling too, as it's not properly sealed

Hmm mine has had elements of the oily residue in that area for almost a month, but no peeling... if it does peel though, it's going to be destroyed and i'm going to get a replacement - but does the period when replacements are available expire after any point in time?

I hope not, it is kind of weird to have this oily figure though lol. It was hot here today maybe thats why, i just checked it a few nights ago and it was fine

hahaha.. yeah the oilage is there on mine too - but doesn't really bother me TBH. Can hardly see it.

Did you guys immediately put your belts on the figure when you got it?

Yes I did - the belt was already on there but has some plastic around it if i remember correctly, and i removed the plastic and posed him pretty much as soon as i opened it.

Mine has not peeled either and I doubt it is correlated as peeling has occurred in other areas of the suit without showing the residue.

Sounds like a good plan. I am going to leave my figure beltless for a day or so until no more residue shows up and then put some spacers to the sides of the ab before installing the belt to have clearance to avoid the whole debacle. pressure from the belt on any other area but the abs has not shown any signs of residue and would further support the observation that the material in the abdominal area is different

More like scientific experimentation.

Test 1 - Day 1, beltless DX for 24 hours, DX belt on v1 for 24 hours

Depending on the result, I will proceed accordingly. Since no one else has gotten him and not put a belt on right away, I want to see what happens if he's just sitting out without a belt, if the same occurrace still happens.

Just glad tomorrow's finally the day, was thinking about it all weekend.
