Acquiring foam latex to use for a mod like this would definitely help in keeping the articulation intact. Or a stiffer type of cloth that could wrap around the back? I think all it would require is to cut out pieces and glue them on top of the respective areas of the DX neck and have those pieces flare out in the back. The DX neck is thin, so that might actually help when it comes to attempting this sort of mod. I think it was 'Tin' from the Toy World boards that tried to wrap cloth around his DX neck, but it turned a bit too thick, so I'm not sure. I'm not a tailor or much of a customizer, so I probably won't try unless I really spend some time on it to think about how to achieve this sort of thing. The real deterrent is laziness. Especially if the DX already looks good enough from the shelf.

Didn't somebody do a mod where the just wraped strategicaly places pieces of electrical tape around the neck?

I may try something like that.

Tin slipped the Medicom neck over the DX neck to padd it out if I remember correctly, and that was too thick.

Oh, right! That was a good idea, but didn't turn out that well. Doesn't exactly help the back of the head, either.

Didn't somebody do a mod where the just wraped strategicaly places pieces of electrical tape around the neck?

I may try something like that.

Does it curve outward at the back (like in the photo above)? I must have missed this one.

People getting replacements are having the whole body replace, shirt, pants, boots and TT body, the rest of the parts you just hold onto, even the gauntlets

How to go about it is multiple ways, some people have gone through their dealers, some have contacted Hot Toys directly.

Cool man, was it straight forward enough? Thinking about swapping mine but don't want a big headache. Is there any time restriction on when you bought it from, or what type of invoice you need? I got mine so long ago and have since been kicked of paypal, I doubt I could even find it.

For me it was straight forward, my figure started leaking on the 4th day I had it and I started email with HT about it, after my first email they stopped responding, and then I got in touch with Toys2, but within a week, week and a half after receiving it I got the ball rolling, I didn't sit on, it's taken until now to finally get it, and I got my figure early February, but I didn't wait long to start, back when the HK shipment came out, they said they would only do replacements on the warped and flaking figures within 30 days of figure receipt.

Just... just only ONE batman. Woah dammit, look at the Joker... must have... mmh and the Two-Face just to complete. And damn look at the Iron-Man figures,... wow perfect, must have... and wow Blade... I always wanted a Blade figure and so on and so on...

Btw, did you see the new T-800 Arnold too?

Yup. That's how we all start. I started with Enterbay's Bruce Lee line. I was like yeah I'm only getting the Bruce Lee figure and NOTHING else. Then I saw the IronMan figure and was like oo only want Mark III since it was the coolest one. THEN the breaking point reached when I was like "Ugh I can't have ONLY the Mark III. That would leave me with an incomplete set. I can't have that!" And when you say that, that means you've reached the point of no return. I find it really funny how we as collectors can not have a missing piece in our collection. Even if that one piece doesn't mean that much to us. I can do without the V1 Joker, Two-Face, BR Joker, Nurse Joker and V1 TDK, but I had to have them because it would complete the Batman collection. WOW.... LOL Welcome to the insanity that is 1/6 collecting.

My door opener was of cause TDK my all time fav movie.
I have now lost my way and have IM, TS, T2, SW lines opened up
Just backtracked to TDK OC and SS SW... and there I was just months ago why ppl here are true freaks filling their rooms up with so many figures and I wish I could....

I started with SSC Star Wars then my first HT was AVP Alien. With Batman, I knew I wanted ONE HT figure of each character. And well, that didnt work! Ive owned every one but only kept the essentials: DX Bats, DX Joker, Interrogation room Joker bash and Two-Face. Now PLEASE HT release Gordon, Scarecrow and Ras Al Ghul!

On topic, I cant stop posing DX Bats! So many display options I want to pick up another but with Batman 3 coming I'll hold out for another until that comes out. Then the madness begins again

Ht does become an addiction though. Im REALLY trying not to get the T-800 Arnie but man does it look amazing! He and Arlo Rainne are my newest "trying to avoid looking at pics" figures right now as I want them insanely bad
