I have been out of the forums for a while

What is the last word on the AB oil issue
have they (HT) fixed it?

Will the DCD shipments have a error free sonar head and abs without oil?

Anyone know?

They seem to have fixed it by swapping the trouble parts from rubber to plastic. So far, everyone that's gotten a replaced figure with this new design has been oil free, couple weeks now. In theory, DCD shipment should be made this way.

That is great news I had two of these first release figs and got rid of 'em quick
I was very upset instaed went for BD ironman

May be I will pick one up

What about the sonar eye paint and the warpy head is that gone too

Warped head problem was fixed very early on. As for the sonar eye paint, that seemed to be inconsistent. I haven't heard of anyone finding a problem since the early figures.

maybe its me, but i think my batman's stomach has gotta fatter, like the upper of the 4 pack area, is this normal? like if i press on that part itll go in, or is it suppose to be skin tight?

its down as end of may @ FP.com and they were spot on with dx jokers scheduled release date so not long to go now! been such a long wait! theirs are from dcd too!

I was thinking of switching the DX neck to the MMS neck. The neck of the DX looks long to me. Anyone can confirm on the difference of length for both necks?

The neck doesn't really look too long, it's more too skinny than too tall, if it was thicker the height would look ok.

What's the objective changing things that don't need to be? it's nothing to do with the head. All you would have to do when molding it is make it less steep of an angle for the magnet.

Even the neck hole could have been made a little bit bigger for the same thickness of the v1 neck but that's not suffering as the v1 neck already fits. So... what was the point making it thinner.

If I order my DX from, say, Amazon...does anyone know if this batch (the ones sold through Movie Masterpieces) will have the ab oil issue?

Second, does anyone know where I can find a translucent display case for the figure? Sort of like a see-through box to display it that will keep it safe from dust, etc?

Is it pre-order? if so Amazon will be part of the DC Direct release. No oil issues. Regardless Amazon wouldn't be part of the early releases anyway. Yeah June 2. You wont have any issues with oil.

Maybe it wasn't planned to be smaller, it's not too much smaller than the v1, enough, but not a great deal, perhaps it's just that somehow a mold shrank or something. Of course, they may have just felt it looked right, necks have often been a let down area with HT figures, Drago looked terrible, Dutch didn't turn out too good in that area.

I guess you're right maulfan, it's not the length, but the width. It give the giraffe effect to the figure at certain angle. No point of getting the V1 neck then..unless there's one for sale at a good price
