sorry but those home made capes look wack. no way i'm messing mine up.

I'm talking about the HT Capes... the pic I posted is the HT Cape.

awesome pics pjam, ive always thought that the less extreme poses are the better ones and your pics proove it. btw, is the cape easy to slip into the slots as the v1 or is it different?

Thanks, this is what I'm trying to tell you Guys, you can fix your HT Capes to lay flat and look great, considering the material. I guess most don't bother to read, they just react.

Please read my post on previous page for a quick how to. It took me all of two minutes, maybe three. Easy peasy.

i gotta be honest not trying to step on anyones toes but all the capes that are NOT the official HT ones look pretty bad. The HT one is great. Wire would have been nice.

i was only confused on inserting the HT cape until i realized i had to slide in the material as well as the plastic into the hole after that it worked fine.

V1 was the same thing i just forgot that was the case.

I understand but what does that have to do with what pjam said? Unless you don't like how the "fixed" Hot Toys cape looks and rather have it all bunched up. No one mentioned home-made capes.

I would disagree. Crow cut a few out and they looked great.
That said it doesnt need to be changed.

I honestly think it depends. I have seen good and bad ones. I like the way the home-made capes (and the Takara one) drape, but I like the overall look of the material of the HT capes also.

i wasn't impressed with any of the home made capes i saw either.

of curse the V1 cape sucked because it was short.. other than that it was fine and this cape is great.

Kool and the gang. It's important to know as HT actually designed them quite well and so many are getting these now and posting bunchy cape pics. Makes a huge difference when it lays flat so have at it guys.

I was gonna change it on the DX but after I got I decided against it. It does look good stock.

I received my Batman today and just finished putting him together. Fantastic figure. The cartoony looking eyes are nonexistent in person and the proportions are fantastic. I was going to post pics but, you know what, it doesn't even matter. I have it now, it's been a long wait and any pics that we take of it will not be as good as the figure we own behind these monitors. ____ it.

Of course, I am having problem with the cape tabs also. I stick the tab AND cape into the slot as far as it can go but the way the tab is designed there's still this part sticking out. It doesn't lay flat and sticks straight up. I've been pretty aggressive with it too and it doesn't seem to budge. I'm reading the advice here but it doesn't seem to help. I feel like a clueless idiot. I've own tons of Hot Toys figures now but I feel so helpless and it's frustrating.

Also, before I forget. In terms of durability this figure is terrific. The only fragile things I can think of are the gauntlet blades and of course the PERS system. Everything else feels solid. I mean I'm not going to test it and start throwing it around but this feels like a really good figure. It's so good that I just ordered another from BBTS. Really surprised how much I like it.

Got my batman from alterego a few days ago. Very impressed with their service. It arrived quickly and it wasn't even shipped by express.

Still waiting for my fig from BBTS which is being shipped via UPS. Even though this figure is only 30 minutes away by car, the scheduled delivery is on the 9th, wednesday. What BS. Should have just asked for usps. I can understand monday, but Wednesday is a joke...I checked the calender and there are no public holidays or anything.

Anyhoo. Figure looks great. Felt awesome unboxing it all over again. I don't think the thickness of the waist is any different to the previous batches to be honest. Articulation is no worse than before either...you would never achieve deep poses before either.

Still...awesome fig. Hope UPS delivers the BBTS order on Monday.
