Yeah, the newest wave has plastic abs. They look great, and don't leak.

Having 50+ in my cart equaled around 10 grand... I wonder how much profit is made when retailers sell these...

And oh wow, I just got a shipping notice from gohastings for a second dx bats I ordered from them. Didn't think I would get it since I ordered when they were all supposedly sold out (the 16th).

Well, I just heard from DCBS and apparently I now have 3 of these on their way!

I have to get out of this thread before a 4th figure shows up

I'm tapping out at five... I think I may have a problem... I also checked and I happily have the plastic abs with no oily residue on the opened ones.

They are not really toys and they are not for children. They are for serious collectors.

Despite my advocacy of OC Bats being superior (as discussed in other thread). I do think that this is the 2nd best Batman figure available. Great figure, apart from the lack of articulation (inherent to all HT Batmen) and the leaky abs problem some of us have experienced.

I'm a HUGE fan of the OC Bats and have owned both ............. the DX is still the better figure. I can look past some greasy abs (although mine is in the process of being replaced) The DX is better because it has a more lifelike appearance. Forget about the extra goodies, its a step up in quality. The step up that happened after the OC was released. V1 TDK too.

Just my 2 cents.

Is it odd that i find myself wanting to take a chance with a 1st or 2nd batch DX now that i already own the DCD version? I mean it IS a "variation". And they seem to be pumping out the DCD version like crazy.

my neck mod: I used a V1 neck and dremmeled off some of the top. I then added magnets inside :
