Just got my Toynk email letting me know bats has shipped, and should arrive tomorrow (I'm in Chicago, Toynk is just north in the burbs). Super excited. Strange, I received my first one from BBTS just a week and a half ago, and have been enjoying it since, but I'm almost more excited to get the second one. Freakin' addicting.

I hear you, dude. I acquired both those figures within a week of each other (BDIM first, DX Bats second) and go back and forth over which is more impressive. They are, in my opinion, the best figures Hot Toys has produced thus far. In the end, I favor Bats just a little more (ended up ordering another). But man, just freakin' sweet pieces.

it (DX02) was my favourite figure when i recieved it last week! then couple days ago i got the BDMKIII and that is now my favourite! if id hav recieved them the other way round i assume the dx would be my favourite now! strange how it works but i suppose it means hot toys keep pushin the bar! a new hot toys figure is always better than the last one you got!

both great but as of now untouchable! as ive sealed the gaps in my detolf with cellotape to prevent my smoke etc causing damage but that also means i cant repose them when i get a bit bored! u can make out the tape in the flash!

thank you balsquat! im not rich or anything and the jobs i do rarely pay enough to buy 20 cigarettes an hour so its been a struggle collecting! so in the 18 months ive been collecting ive only been able to buy IMO what i call MOVIE LEGENDS/ICONS! but im happy with it and once i hopefully aquire the T-800 my collection is done! (until i see summink else i want!) will post better "show your shelfs" pics with a proper camera when i get a chance!

Karnis, those pics are stunning Bro, need to tuck those cape tabs in like Zeelhar's and you'll be rocking it.

Actually, they are tucked in pretty far, but the cape on the DCD version is weird as one side of it is stiffer than the other (like it got too much starch or something), & it won't lay flat. After looking at those pics, I swapped it out with another cape I have & it lays much better now. Thanks pjam!

Yeah, you gotta hold the tabs with your thumb behind it and insert the cape points into the slots using the tab, then ease them in further and further until fully in, then push down on the top of the tabs and the cape should lay flat. Hope that helps...

Nice display, farrrs! Your collection is really simple just like mine. Ive only aquired the figures that are legendary & are known to the general public as well. Once DX03 MJ:BAD is released, my collection will also be complete until the next Batman film. That is unless something else comes along that I just HAVE to get (which I highly doubt)

I may go out for a T2:Arnold or Iron Man sooner or later. But no rush, if I get 'em, I get 'em; if I dont, I dont!

thanx again-yeah i would have been in for a dx03 as i am an MJ fan and he obviously qualifies as legend! but lack of accessories for a DX makes it an easy pass for me personally!

You'll be very happy you got them. I was on the fence because of the oily abs discussions but when I got mine I was blown away. (Also no oily abs.) Best Batman figure ever! Plus with all the extra cool gear included you can't help but to want do up a few display versions.

Yeah I can't wait to get him! (both of them "lol) I can't believe I've wated this long to get this being the Batfan that I am. Well, I'm more of an Keaton Batman anyway but this figure does look amazing. I'll have to see if I can trade the extra Bats for a DX Joker to complete my set.

Wow, to think a month ago, I didn't have a single HT figure and now I have 5!
