The skanking donkey fondlers! Glad to say mine has actually arrived. The seller had the good sense to mark it as a gift and downgrade the value so I avoided the weasels charging me. Yet to open it, dinner first, then the unveiling.......

Well I've opened the box. And there's no leaky abs or biceps. There is however a misalignment of the spine armour and the back of the shoulder pads are chipped and cracked. There some evidence of warping as well on the shoulder pads like they haven't been moulded properly and just painted over.
So some advice is needed here guys. Do I need to notify the seller or do I need to contact Hot Toys directly?
Oh, and I almost forgot

I'm not going to worry about it. I was careful not to go pst comfortable resistance and I looked closely at the crotch rubber. In fact I took several close up pictures so I could zoom in and look at it closer that the eye can see. No signs of strain on the rubber.

I spent a long time with that pose, and I spend a lot of time looking at it, walking around to see it from different angles. With Commtech's excellent neck mod, it really looks like Batman is in action on my shelf!

Thats the sad thing though, he manages to escape customs and now has defective parts. He may not be so lucky once it's sent back which could arrive with oozing biceps and to arrive back to the UK getting stung by customs. Parcelforce is a pure hit or a miss when it comes to marked as gift and low value.
I've been stung before when it was marked as gift and just below $30 yet other times it has escaped. They just seem to pick specific parcels to slap custom fees onto and you could be it. :/

I do have a camera but can't get it to load on the computer for reason's that escape me. After examining the figure (for hours) and reading Vodoun's pertinent comments I'm not going to bother sending it back. I can live with the "spine" not being straight and the chip on the shoulder armour. I've been waiting to get the figure for six months, worrying about the oil issue etc. Now I've actually got it in hand I really can't be bothered with the stress, cost and hassle of trying to get a replacement. The seller will not accept returns and I can't see Hot Toys sending me a new body if people who have melting suits due to abs oil can't get them to budge. Despite the spine and shoulder pad the figure's an amazing piece of art, and I would never part from it anyway. I guess nothing's ever truly perfect, even the movie it's based on. But it's damn close!

I will never understand why vodoun's silver parts looks so metallic.
No matter how I light mine it doesn't look like that. In person or on camera.
