What is the black box sitting on the base?

that's not comforting haha even with i have such OCD when it comes to things needing to be nicely packaged. you should see me picking out a DVD. I look through so many before I make a decision

I know what you mean. I think all of us collectors have at least a little OCD. When I was collecting standard 6" figures, I always had to look at EVERY SINGLE ONE in the store to make sure I got the absolute best paint job. I discovered a long time ago that that runs pretty rampant in our hobby.

Just wanted to say. I do both of these.

Its just an acrylic baseball holder that I painted black awhile back. I use it as a riser sometimes.

Hey guys,

I'm in a pickle over here in a discussion with Voudon. Does anyone else have hard plastic bicep plates on their DCD run DX batman? Mine are hard plastic, not rubber. Some collectors have questioned this, and I'm just fishing to see who else has plastic instead of rubber as well.

I'm pretty sure all the DCD figures have hard plastic abs.

The bicep plates on my DCD batch seem like they are hard plastic.

I'm pretty sure that my bicep plates are rubber. Not a hint of oil though, and I'm around 3 months now.

And no, I'm not in denial.

Just unboxed him. He's been in his box for a wek or so. Oil was there a bit more than before on his bicep plate but nothing drastic. He's coming out soon permanently as i'm having shelves made so I will be able to keep on top of it. I'm predicting the oil won't be bad and/or deteriorate the figure. Fingers crossed!

So you're DX02 is leaking despite the plastic biceps?

A tiny bit, looks more like condensation than a leakage of oil.

It's on the biceps as well, not the abs.

Crawl out of one hole, into another eh?!

I think finding one with the plastic biceps will be tricky bud. I personally feel that a leaky bicep is easier to contain so to speak via vodoun's method and also less noticeable. So for me, i don't too much care now if I can't get him before the sale ends at gohastings.com

curiouse as to whoever has the "plastic" bicepts I want you to help clarify. the plastic part we are talking about leaking is the band/plate that has the carbon pattern on it as a decal. We are not talking about the plate that goes on top of that and curves up a bit towards the shoulder and is attached to the rest of the chest armor via elastic straps?
