That looks mega, especially love the bale head. Is that the Hot Toys version modified?

What mods have you done to your bats monkeyrobotmaster? Sorry if you've posted them elsewhere, i'm just eager to know!

Yes, the Bale head is the one that came with the OC Batman that I re-sculpted the hair, and repainted the face. As for the DX Batman, I modded the neck for the sonar head removing the electronics and putting magnets inside it. Also shortened the neck too. I made him a new cape as well.

Did you modify the bicep plates too? They look screen accurate.

I have been looking at my DX to see if the bicep plates can be lowered. If you did this could you post a tutorial?

Yeah those bicep plates look better. If there was one thing that bothered me about the DX, it's the damn plates! They got it right the first version... don't know why they changed.

All I did was pulled the rubber sleeve down and superglued it to the forearm. It's easy and doesn't hinder the arms movement.

Pop the hand off, remove the gauntlet, and pull the rubber sleeve down then glue it in place.

Only problem I see with the DX in those pics is that the plates are too high.

Only because they are plastic so they are thicker. The Medicom gets away with it because it's gauntlets are the same as the suit. So they flex.

It's not terribly bad.

What's with the freakishly long ears in pic2....

I really hate medi's carbon fiber detail. Ugly color and pattern.

Either way Medi's look much better and more screen accurate, and are better constructed.

Medicom's is crap. I had both and sold the Medi one because it's poop, IMO. Anyway the arms aren't too fat, the bicep armor is too high that's the only problem. If you think the DX's arms are too big then you must think all the HT figures have fat arms, just saying.

The Medicom ones chest is too big and round (like he has boobs) and the abs are all wrong. There's problems with both, nothings perfect. If they were I'd have nothing to mod, and that's no fun at all.
