Great looking mod but I am still a little confuse with the tutorial. Can someone post pics of which exact triangle part we are supposed to cut? How do we remove the bicep armour? Do I cut the tabs? Don't wanna ruin my replacement from HT. Thanks.

Okay, there is no actual triangle to cut, you're cutting the back side of the rubber sleeve (the back of the forearm). Which after cutting leaves a triangular or v shape once cut. As for the bicep armor, it just peels off the rubber, just pull slowly and it will come free. Not sure what tabs you're talking about, but I'll assume you referring to the back of the bicep armor piece? If so I did cut those off as well. I hope that clears things up.

The Medi pants allow more leg movement. The torso does too, but it's not accurate looking.

The DX Articulation is fine except for the legs I think. Pretty sure the arms have good articulation.

i have the DX its pretty crappy for movement.
il look at the medi, im wanting to custom something so that might do the trick.

Why remove the bicep armor? My sleeve pulls down armor and all.

Because, being that they're glued to the rubber, and the rubber is being stretched they shift, and end up looking wonky if you don't. By removing them and putting them back they sit properly on the arm.

That mod sounded like a good idea at the time. I don't think I'm prepared to start snipping stuff off. At least my other mods you weren't carving stuff up. It's like altering to fit but never damaging.

Cutting the tabs off is optional. I did it, but that doesn't mean you have to. In all honesty I probably didn't have to cut them off.

I'm not bold enough to make that mod to my figure. I'm just going to live with the arm pads being too high.

How are most people displaying their bats dx? I mean does the included stand mess up the rubber suit in any way?

I only use the base. I have no use for the stand.

yea neither am I...i love to snip here and there but not on this guy. he's the most expensive figure I've bought thus far and I barely want to do the neck mod for fear of messing something up or maybe cracking the neck when trying to pop it open. I don't have a problem with the pads being too high. I never even noticed up until recently

Honestly, if you are worried about the neck mod PM Commtech. I can't speak for him, but it can't hurt to ask if he would do it for you. And he has it down pat by now.

thanks mag, I thought about PM Commtech, buuuuut I'm going to wait until it's actually in my hands to decide I know for a fact when I first get it, I'm going to think to myself "eh it's not so bad, I can live with it" then eventually that state of mind will change maybe he can just give me some pointers in doing the mod myself.

yea I've seen/read it. the part that kind of worries me is the whole opening the socket. He makes it sound so easy "sick the pliers in there and it pops right open" (paraphrased quote) <-can you tell I'm still in school?

what if it "breaks right open" in stead? idk, like I said, I'll find out when I get it in my eager little hands

it's frustrating waiting

I think when it pops open it will open at the seam. I don't know why it would break.
